I remember wanting Serena to be on my town really badly. She was like this otherworldly god. When I finally did unlock her, a week later, my Wii stopped reading the disks anymore. Probably just because it was super old and dusty. I really wish I could visit my town again after all this time, but I’m afraid that’s just not possible. I’ve tried emulators, but I just can’t get the same feeling I used to get while playing since I don’t have my data. Maybe someday I’ll dig through my Wii and try my best to fix the problem again, but I’m pretty sure it’s lost to time.

My partner and I complain about the tools breaking regularly and even had an idea for how they could have used Farley and Serena to fix that issue. I also miss the mail pelicans, Gracie and Feneas

Sadly, the game is no longer getting major content, patches and fixes still occur as far as I'm aware. But after New Horizon's was "Completed" they confirmed that the Nov 21 update and Happy Home Designer DLC would be the last major content for the game.

There is an exploit out there that can bring back Wifi Connection for the DS that I've been using and it works very well. The problem is that it's very unknown and so most of the time it feels like it's still gone
