Hey guys! Just a Quebec resident here! Thanks a lot for the love!! I actually live 20 minutes away from Mt-Tremblant. That track does have some history; another fun fact is that back in the day, this track was used by "Le Guide De L'Auto" (Auto Guide) which was like the Motorweek show in book form, to review cars. IIRC, they started in 1969, one of the first reviews being a "69 Dodge Charger Daytona, and that book still sells annually to this day. If you want to check out this track, I would do it soon because like a lot of the racetracks in the US, the rich pr*cks that built their fancy houses around it are now suing and trying to close it down. Also, Jim Russell driving school still exists and also offer proffesionnal karting lessons on that track now!

Raced snowmobiles with the elder Jacques in NY, ON, QC, & WI (Gilles' brother), and he was a savage for decades. Won 3x W.C.'s and stayed competitive for 30+yrs in the top classes. Just keeping up with him thru a corner in practice was an accomplishment for me.

As a MN resident...Canada Light...I was in my garage listening and correcting the sledding stuff...like its moto-ski not motor-ski... but one of my customers is a dude that collects specifically Skiroule sleds, he has like 25 or more. many have fiberglass hoods, and i fixed a few of them for him over the years, but he has a couple of these snowmachines you are talking about that were built specifically for racing. i fixed and painted the hood for him 2 years ago for one of these fancy race sleds, it is a killer rig, like 8 of them exist. but this guy, so nice... he was at a snowmobile show with it, and just lets this stranger drive it...i mean guy came back...but still. but like everything on the sled is built to turn left to go around the oval track. So it will turn left on a dime, but takes 5 acres to turn right.

Snowmobiles are heavy and deadly. To date the only passing of an X games athlete, Caleb Moore, in competition was a snowmobile racer who was landed on by another competitor. Also lets not forget KB43VER passing from a snowmobile accident

No James, it's very much not fun to live here ☹We don't get to engine swap, we don't get to increase exhaust size, we don't even get to bore engines :( And on top of that, you don't even get to know if the guy walking by you giving you a wink because he likes it, speaks any of the languages you know!

The name Villeneuve should be pronounced french. So Villeneuve Not Villenoef. But yes it's strange that Americans, Britts, Germans and French always have so much difficulty in pronouncing other languages. It think it's because they all grow up monolingual. In Belgium we grow up bi-, trilingual minimal. So we grow up pronouncing and talking different languages. A possibility is when making a podcast or video about foreigners, just search a video(s) in his/her native language where you can here the name being pronounced correctly. It's a matter of minimal respect tot the subject.
