Aye yall, I really really really hope y'all bring back the old format where y'all show us pictures and clips of the cars and races, and being able to see y'all laugh and talk would be nice as well. I get that it's a podcast and you don't typically have visuals for podcasts, but it's possible to give that back since this is KZfaq...so...can we please have it back? I'll buy y'all all a Ferrari or a Lamborgine Ma-shine or whatever. We just want our visuals back

All thought the 936 was early with turbo, but it wasnt actually the first turbocharged car at le mans. The first was used in 1974 and was also a Porsce, the 911 2.1 rsr. The top speed of the porsche 936 was 224 mph, so 150 mph must have been early in the straight.

The point of a podcast is audio. I agree with everyone. But that adds to the equipment, the staffing, the editing, the quality control and the stress that comes with. Most outlets for this content can’t take video, adding the need for two edits… One of the best parts about this show is how they enjoy it. Every addition might take away from the quality. #dhole

I think you're mistaken Wembley Stadium which is a massive football pitch that also houses rugby and cricket events (also concerts)... Wimbledon is a compound that compromises of 18 tennis courts with of the 2 courts are housed in separate small broadcast arenas... nowhere near big enough to house a baseball game...

It's pronounced "Dun-leh-vee' with long 'e' at the end, although the way you say it does sound more French, so there's that. Otherwise fun podcast, one of the reasons I love Le Mans is the variety of cars, even today.

Almost disgusting how much they were talking shit about Porsches. Thing is, those 936s and 935s went well over 200 mph down the Mulsanne, only NA RSRs and stuff went 150-ish. Porsche 936 ended up winning the race, thanks to it's superior speed and reliability.

It's just a little unfair to compare a 3 litre bmw engine to the 177ci thriftpower six in the maverick. That was the economy engine in the states at the time! We had big power engines too we just saved small engines for fuel economy
