Edit: so it'd be a.. DCINO board...? I am down for this. Define more clearly the "[x] key hype" by whatcha mean. • Also, starts an infight might as well be the freespace, alternatively "GREETINGS EVERYONE" • "Opa!" or • "Yeeeaaa boi" Could be somewhere. Remove check stats with • *actually forgot something by stat-check time and has to go back* to consolidate three places • Archvile slang equivalent, but not just "Archvile" eg Flameboi or Archie, etc. • Any reference to "Big Imps" • "I'm improvising [here/from now/at this point]" • Points out unintentional design flaws, aesthetic • Points out unintentional engine flaws, preferably via exploitation • References heart racing, sweating etc. • *ABANDON SHIP: DECINO ACTUALLY RAISES HIS VOICE OR LOSES HIS CHILL FOR EVEN A SINGLE TICS WORTH* • "But that's boring, so.." • Self splash damage from a lost soul • Decides to punch out a Big Imp without Berserk • says *"DOOM. @Agent 005 _Funny how fast monsters transforms the pinky from a mostly harmless trash enemy that's easily dealt with to one of the fastest and deadliest monsters in the game._ And then we have this abomination of BFG Edition where on Nightmare the Pinkies have regular speed. Same for all the projectile speeds lol...

It would cool if Arachnotrons were not very aggressive like other monsters. They just back off and shoot in your general direction. As an added benefit, they should be given the ability to teleport other monsters from the level around you when they have line of sight.

Every time I watch decino in action I'm left thinking 'how the hell did he do that?' And not only does he do it he calmly commentates over the action, even with about 2% health and surrounded by fast monsters. Damn, the man is good!

That secret is just silly--of course with a shitty *DOOM PLATFORMING* angle to take. Especially when not pistol starting it's excessively generous and redundant if you're, well not shit--or on UVSpeed/NightmareAny% where it's completely irrelevant. When I was little the lost souls were way to spooky so I only played Episode 1. The first time I played episode 2 and saw a lost soul, I jumped out of the computer chair, into the hallway of the den and covered my head like a grenade had been tossed. I did the same thing to the SS Troopers in Wolfenstein 3D.

I remember being deathly afraid of both Hell Knights and Barons of Hell, the latter significantly more so. I never played Doom, my mum and older sister did, and I would always leave the room whenever I knew one of them was about to appear (I used to ask them to lower the volume but my sister did the opposite once and I never trusted her since).

That tricks and traps run was surprising with the Cyberdemon survival and how you managed to salvage the pain elemental spam. And of course it isn't a Decino run without a near death but still completed a level experience

The strategies for MAP08/Tricks and Traps are very helpful even without the -fast parameter and I never thought of using the -complevel 2 parameter.

Thanks for showing me this strat for 'tricks and traps" I was having a hard time pistol starting this map on ultra-violence+. I ended up letting the imp room and the cacodemons infight saving me some cells I had to use on the cyber demon and I used 2 bfg blasts in the imp/baron room. Other than that my strat was more or less the same. Big thanks decino

Well done on doing the Dead Simple challenge, the first time I believe it has been done on UV fast. You might have heard on The Crusher that if you use the door frame of the red key door you can crash the game in vanilla. Why you would feel so inclined is one of life's minor mysteries but there you go!

You can make another one if you have one hand and Man-Butter to spare. It's hard to beat, in a pinch. My nutty mom taught me well about how to survive on a low budget. It's the lowest hanging fruit of all; and it ain't sour grapes. That's only if you *extract* too much too quick, then your snack will not be salty and satisfying at all. I would also like to thank The Academy, the Screen Actors Guild, Harvey Weinstein and my legitimately-accquited uncle Lester: without their support and.. "encouragement" I'd never be in the position I am. Hope you enjoyed the video--I had one hand free while typing this and.. found a snack myself!

Map 7 was a challenge Bigmacdavis did in last year. Also followed by Altimamantoid, Zdenda and others. Only SSG and mancubi area and no damage. Now you added fast monsters. I think I should try that. Interesting.

In other port versions (bfg edition etc.) of the crusher the spider mastermind was replaced with hell knights and had stairs leading up into the crusher

Recently purchased Doom II on PS4 for nostalgias sake. And lemme tell you. Doing blind runs on these maps I haven't played in years, on ultra-violence, has been and "experience". Refueling Station took me nearly 25 minutes to 100% clear and I doubt that timer includes all the times I had to save/reload repeatedly just to advance. As a note, this run I'm doing is particularly hellish because on PS4 you select specific weapons like I could on PC, you have to cycle slowly through all of them to the weapon you want. I so wish I could rebind it so that specific weapons were on specific buttons... There's so many buttons on the controller that aren't even being used 😭. Ah well. The price of "console".

Refueling Base and Pit are one of my fav maps in Doom 2. Also MAP28 I absolutely love. The only downside of MAP28 for me is - it has imo way too many invulnerabilities for UV. I can do every bigger fight with invulnerability

Dat Dead Simple challenge doe I've been doing that challenge (+ having the time limit of 1:50) for so long, playing the map the normal way by using rockets and/or the Plasma Rifle seems to weird to me. Ofc, I die a shitton to it because the time rush is *INSANE*. Best current record is 1:35, doubt I can get it any lower. Kinda insane how far I went with DooM, I dreaded Dead Simple as a kid because the Fatsos and Spider-Bots scared the crap out of me and getting me killed in the process. Now, I find the map so easy I had to implement a challenge that I've been following so hard I can't play the map normally anymore..... which gets me killed in the process because, again, I'm basically speedrunning the map with extra steps.

Hi master Decino. Congrats for your videos. I have a question. I'm running all the Dooms on pistol start and no saves. But I'm stuck at stage 9 of doom 2 because lost souls. Pain elementals always spawn LS with no limits. Even dozens. Why? I use zdoom. Thx

At this point, the bosses of the last game have now become trivial mooks. Reminds me of Dark Souls, Dust: An Elysian Tail, and more. With all those running jumps, I wonder how you'll fare with the Marathon trilogy on the Aleph One engine, decino. If that certain spot is proto-Plutonia, then what's proto-Evilution? I will never understand why many games treat light amplificators as either temporary or, like in Half-Life's and Alan Wake's case, demandingly rechargeable.

Whenever I try to take on Cyber, I'm always the lady. Or the sexualized kitchen drawer. Or the 70 year old Haitian maid circa 1899. I think I'm a bit too submissive. But it doesn't take a Mastermind to know how to Cyber.
