Those little doll dresses are adorable. If it was me, I would repaint the wall. I think the wallpaper detracts from the stained glass window a bit? Although in the other room it looks okay so IDK either, lol. All of it looks amazing and is so much more than I could do. I thrifted some small poodles in a basket yesterday, that is the only thing I have done this week. I tried to replace hinges on a Dora Kuhn wardrobe and it didn't work out too well so I will be trying to fix that. Always something!!

Thank you so much for video link showing construction of the French doors. Just love that we ‘miniaturists’ make it up as we go along. Can’t wait to set about the loft doors and walls but first my floor boards on card has warped so must use some hefty GLUE to sort it out. Hey ho. I've been working on a pinata for my youngest grandkids and their cousins for Easter. For the dollhouse, I'm working on a dresser and the large cooking hearth/fireplace. It's been slow, slow going on all projects! It's kind of frustrating when things don't work out the way you imagine. LOL

Your tape/paint situation reminds me of an old children’s book - “Fortunately, Unfortunately.” Fortunately, you taped off your stained glass window to keep it from getting paint on it. Unfortunately, the tape inadvertently covered too much of an area. Fortunately, you solved the problem by adhering butterfly wallpaper. Unfortunately, you’re not sure if you like it! And so it goes, right? I will add … Fortunately you are talented with a great eye, so you will figure it out! 😌 Glad the doorknobs stick. I find “Diamond Glaze” really adheres well with these types of things/situations well. I use it whenever I need a 3D object to something flat, etc. I see someone also recommended E6000 glue - that’s another good glue … yet so toxic … use it when you have good ventilation and be sure to wear gloves! Love the plank floor and butterfly walls in dorm room! I have taken a break from miniatures this last week and have done other art. I’m about 1/2 done with an sculptural altered art book I’m making for a collage artist friend of mine. Having a grand time with that. Hope to finish it next week and then … back to miniatures. That means I’ll be papering and painting (another!) Triang house I got a month ago on eBay. It’s from the 60’s and I can’t wait to completely redo it. Since it’s not “so old” I’m not really concerned with authentic restoration. I’m going to do the whole house - inside and out - in Mary Engelbreit! I have some red Strombecker living room furniture for it and tons of other plans! We shall see! Enjoy the rest of the week! Can’t wait to see the parlor furniture piece! Thanks much! Kathleen

Oh my gosh Dot! I just LOVE that door!! I’m jealous! The little pine cones look adorable and go with the rustic feel of the doors! Don’t worry about your little “mistakes”. I say that in quotes because I really don’t think there’s any such thing as a mistake! There’s always a way to turn it around. Besides, you make us feel better about our mistakes! I like the floor, but she might consider very lightly sanding it to bring out the separation in the popsicle sticks. Just a thought! Your videos make me happy!! (I heard my name twice! I’m famous!) 💝

The nursing paper is lovely if your worried about your plain wall in there just do trim on the walls like you did in the living room. It would work beautifully and add Architectural interest.
