I have algae in my tank. Will Reef Flux fix it? There's only one way to find out. plus I feed the fish and do tank stuff.

The tank is looking good Scott. 👍 Glad the Fluconozole worked for you. I used Brightwell’s Razor and also had good results with it as well. It’s gets a foot hold on the algae.

Good update Scott, looking forward to hearing about the results. I was unable to find reef flux in Canada, ended up buying it from ebay. Waiting for it to arrive....

Been thinking about fluc lately, but right now I'm about a month in to a vibrant treatment. Probably gonna give the vibrant a chance to prove itself.

Careful with this as some people ( including me) have had some acros die to this while others dont care at all. I will use this only if you are dealing with bryopsis and nothing else tbh. Also watch your alk consumption when using this as it will plummet for most people and cause a spike.

does it has any bad effects to coral or fish from overdosing the fluconazole? Cus i have a small patch of GHA on the back of the tank that I can't reach and I want em all gone lol

It shouldn’t be a problem I would personally try it. It’s not as effective on hair algae but it’s worth a try

hey Im starting up a new reef tank its a 50 gallon and im trying to create a stocking plan do you have any tips?

If possible add the most aggressive fish last. By putting the less aggressive fish in first they can get use to the new tank before the more aggressive fish arrive

Look into Nyos quantums i have used several Aqua Cs ramoras , pros, (ev-180) and my new quantum absolutely blows them away IMO

@@MileHighReefers i was referring to how quickly they start producing and the skim is thick syrup consistency lol i have never had a skimmer that could do that it was either nothing or just really light green water with no real smell
