Dottie who was an amazing song writer and singer, was also a inspiration to millions. Even still this number of years later, I find myself seeking out her music. Doesn't Lulu Roman look absolutely wonderful & with an amazing voice of her own, and as many know, Dottie and Lulu were great friends. Dottie, your legendary status still lives on through your music and all those you inspired. Continue to rest in peace sweet lady!

I grew up listening to my mom sing this song. It’s One of her favorite songs from Dottie Rambo.

Simone Roman: And you have the same last name as the singer here. Cool! I know that your mom's version will always be your favorite, but Lulu did a good job. I heard Lulu give her Christian testimony in a Baptist church in Dallas about 1973. She was scheduled to sing with Dottie at a church (I think in Arlington TX) the morning that Dottie died in the bus wreck. I am crying like a little child right now.... It is hard to see the keys to type... But at the same time my Spirit soars at the knowledge of where she is and where all believers will spend eternity. Praise the Lord!.... Hallelujah!

Never forget an interview they did with a grief-stricken Lulu shortly after the bus accident. Through tears Lulu said: "There's nobody like Dottie, all that lady ever talked about was the Lord!" What a testimony to leave as a legacy to your family & friends! If only our loved ones could say that about ALL OF US!

I saw a picture of you that I think is a picture of you as just find out about your adopted sister's death. I am so sorry, but I am glad she is in heaven with our Father. You can Glory in the Cross.
