Thank you for sharing this! I've learned so much about Jesus thru Dottie Rambo. One of The Rambos lesser known songs "Just When I Need Him" played a very personal role in my life when at 16 years old I lost my best friend. I was struggling and my parents didn't know what to do with me. I heard this song one morning getting ready to face another day with out my friend. As the song says: "I feel His arms all wrapped around me" I felt Goda spirit engulf me. That song still evokes a feeling in me. Thank you Dottie Rambo for writing that song. It saved my life. ❤❤❤

@conniejacks7485: Thanks for sharing your experience. Dottie was a personal friend of mine and I can tell you truthfully she was one of the sweetest and kindest people I have known. She was so trusting that twice men she entrusted with her finances stole all her money. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aOCBetGo1pO5Xac.html

I know Dottie is sitting there between Jesus, and God, smiling, not hurting, and making sure that there is a place for us to all to get together to sing, and rejoice for eternity. What a blessed lady. The first time I saw her, and heard her sing, I turned my life around, gave up drinkin, and turn my life over to our Lord , and his son, Jesus. Thank you, Dottie. I was sorry u left this world, but I love knowin u r there watchin over us, pain free, singin&writin songs 4 us 2 sing 2gether in Glory

I heard the Crabb family before anyone knew who they were...they drove into our church parking lot one Sunday night in a little no nothing town on the Gulf Coast of Texas and asked our pastor if they could minister. Jason and his siblings were just little kids...and man did they minister...

My Mother-in-law was a strong, church goin, bible beatin woman, & tried everything 2 make me change my wicked, drinkin, cheatin ways. Then she invited my wife, and I down 2 her cabin in Fifty Six, Arkansas. My wife went 2 bed, so my mother in law, & me watched TV. I changed channels, and I heard this Lady with a guitar singing"never been this homesick before." Well, I sat down, and kept listening, and found out her name was Dottie Rambo. I started cryin4 no reason,& gave my life 2 the Lord.

I love Dottie rambo's music, VERY MUCH, it's absolutely wonderful, & at her home going to heaven, this song was very appropriate, to say the least. I like the way they did it, (the arrangement) it was perfect! Mrs. Rambo is in heaven now & singing unto the Lord of Hosts.

I watch very little television compared to most people. I accidentally saw this on youtube. I am a little shocked, but not surprised at her passing due to the last time I saw her perform with the Gaithers' Homecoming show. What a great lady who will be missed! The home going was great. I saw all of it that I could. Thanks for uploading to youtube. Some of us would never have seen this if you hadn't. I appreciate you all.

I used to have a CD with Dottie singing this song. Sorry folks, but NOBODY could do this song better than Dottie Rambo. I've heard so many versions, and I even sing this song at Church, but Dottie was the best.

Brother Baker, you have a wonderful testimony for the Lord. Keep telling what the Lord has done for you, giving Him all the praise and glory. He will bless you for it. In fact, I'm sure He already has.

I love the crabb family but I can still hear Jimmy Swaggart saying, "Sing it John" to John Starnes. That is the version I heard first and it is still my favorite.

This is a signature Dottie song so we are used her style...Remember that dottie and the Crabb family were very close and we/you/I can hear their grief thru this song, we all know that Dottie experienced daily excruciating back pain from tne surgeries she had. no more grief/pain for Dottie she's in her mansion & wearing her crown.-- no tears will ever stain the streets of that city, no wreaths of death on the mansion door. Hallelujah

God worked through Dottie Rambo, my mother in law Virgil Mae Coyle, and the television that night to wipe my soul clean of all my sinning. I have never touched another drink, cheated on my wife, cursed, or spoken ill of anyone, because of those 2 amazing Ladies in my life. Dottie Rambo was an earthbound angel, and so was my mother in law. They both died in vehicle crashes, but I rejoice knowing those two angels saved me, and with God's help, made me a new, better man.God Bless you, Rambo Family

This is a beautiful song when sung by Jessie Dixon or Dottie Rambo. This guy doesn't sing this right. It is ugly and I don't like it! Jazz style is not for this song!!!!!
