You've got to be among the top 10 metal drummers when it comes to starting and stopping patterns and controlling subdivision changes.

Lo que me encanta y quiero alcanzar, es el no forzar ni tensar los musculos y estar relajado al tocar a alra velocidad, como lo hacen ver ellos. 😒 Poco a poco. 💪⌛

@@corpsen5028hace poco conoci esta tecnica y ahora la he estado aplicando y he podido tocar canciones ultra rapidas que antes no podia porque se me cansaban los pies.

It's exactly those 16th notes that my right foot struggles with. My right foot wants to stay in the 32nd notes position but to play the 16ths you need to let the heel come almost to the floor so it needs to be very relaxed. I can do the 32nd notes but don't have enough control and sometimes I hit unison. Achieving this level of control is so damn hard that its literally taking me years. I know what I need to do but my right leg and foot refuses to do it.

I know exactly what you're going through. I have the same issue. Repetition is what's working for me. You have to hammer those feet every damn day. Use it or lose it. Best of luck, cheers.

Hi Martyn, you are using the Pearl Eliminator. I'm using that pedal aswell. Can you do a video on how the different cams affect the feel? How does the white cam compare to the Red one?

I recently learned the heel toe technique. I’ve tried the ankle technique many times but find it much harder to control. Can heel toe be used instead of ankle? Is there a difference when it comes to fast double bass drumming?

Been searching for this song for the last 2 hours. Got a hint, or just a riff you have at home?
@drumtechniqueacademy Жыл бұрын
that one is written by the amazing Bernth... not a real song...just the riff and some double bass drumming
@thomasmoulton8417 Жыл бұрын
@@drumtechniqueacademy thanks for the reply! I was looking through Bernth’s material on Spotify. Very talented man. Very inspired by your material. You do a lot of great work through the internet. I never thought when I was a kid listening to DM that the artists would be so close. Just a message away! Thank you for your continued contributions to keep metal awesome!
