I tried double unders for the first time and I got it (I kept almost doing triple unders and had trouble doing consecutive double unders). Took me a few minutes to get used to doing multiple of these but I got used to it. Crazy how I only tried it once previously years ago but failed and never tried again until today. All the other workouts I've done have really paid off in multiple areas where I dont train much.

@@EddieJumps all the tips I heard about leaning forward and wrist movement with high jumps really helped..I think I gave myself shin splints for a moment because I wasn't doing soft landing when first trying out the doubles

Lol, that man just explained what I have studied and practiced for over four years in like a minute. In general, his speech is good. The only problem is that he has many gaps in his explanations. Eddie misses the most essential point of double unders, which is the pogo stick form. Instead, he explains the elbow motion, which again should come after elbow position explanation. I always love to watch people who teach doubles without taking a word about the singles, which are even more important. This shows that this world is, indeed, in a hurry after fast results. Keep training and learning, even teaching, #MakeJumpingGreat, but please, be more like a book: clean and logical, accurate, rather than noisy and wrong. Best regards, Mr. Wiktor S. NOHF Team, world record holder.

Not a good teaching method. Combining singles with doubles will only make it harder for newbies

I gave a real try with double unders for the first time today and was able to do one on the first try (I just remembered the tricks people said with the wrist movement and high jump). Within a couple of minutes I was able to get the hang of it but then started wondering if I was mentally tricking myself..but I remember hearing the whip of the rope. You're right though..going from single to double sounds like more of an advanced move because my brain woukd get so confused lol
