That was intuitive af to generate enough power to crank that thing with the jack lmao. U really got creative with that one. Its cool ur good woth working on cars like this, that part looks so much better brand new. I opened the hood to my renegade last year when it the battery died in the freezing cold and there were so many covers and wires i just had it towed to a dealer and had them fix it😊 Hope ur doing well bro it's been a while since u posted. Hope FL is treating u well

Thank you my brother! I appreciate you checking out the video as always. 😎 And hey, it’s all good man! Obviously, you know that I’ve worked on cars in the absolute frigid cold, so I totally understand why you just decided not to deal with it outside. Sometimes it’s literally impossible because you can’t even feel your fingers after a while. It’s a lot easier tackling a project when you’re in a nice warm garage, or it’s just warm outside lol. And if you want to learn more in the future, there’s nothing stopping you! Obviously tackle small things first, and work your way up! Changing your battery, your windshield, wiper blades, and your oil are a good places to start. Also, learning how to change a tire, especially before an emergency happens, is a must! And I know, man, it has been a while! Unfortunately, I’ve been very busy this last month with not so much fun stuff. I’m sorry to say that my grandfather died, whom I was very close with. My grandparents essentially raised me instead of my parents. I ended up having to fly back to Falmouth late Sept when he was in the hospital and he took a turn for the worse. Thankfully, I made it there quick enough and I did see him the night right before he died. I really think he waited for me man! After he died though, I had to help my grandmother with the funeral and what not, so I was obviously tied up. Now that that’s over with, I’m going to keep working as hard as I can now to pump out more videos! I really wanna get my channel off the ground brother. Thank you as always for the support and helping me get there! 🤙🤙🤙

@@DoubleClutchAutoReviewsI'm sorry to hear about your grandfather man, that's very tough I'm sure. Stay strong ❤ Yeah I hear u man, it's important to be able to DIY your own vehicles tbh. I have a trash 3rd party remote start on my car that decided to quit working in the 25 degree cold so that's great LMAO. Ah man, such is live I suppose. Looking forward to your next vid

@@AgeraXXX Thank you my brother! I really appreciate that. It obviously hasn’t been easy, especially for my grandmother. I’m going to try to convince her to come down to FL to visit and get out of the New England cold for a bit at least once or twice this winter. Hopefully that will help her to not be alone, get out of the house, and get a change of scenery. And yeah man, it surely does help sometimes, especially when money is tight. I can’t even imagine how much that would’ve cost me a mechanic shop for them to do it compared to me just doing it myself! I was proud that I got it done. 😎 My girlfriend definitely helped me a lot throughout it though. She is awesome lol And that sucks that had to happen man. And of course it did it when it was absolutely frigid out also, right? Lol What are you going to end up doing about it? Are you going to replace it with a new one? Or are you just going to leave it be, and not have the remote start?

Hmmm interesting. 2 questions my friend. Is yours an automatic or a manual? Also, is it an OEM starter, or an aftermarket one like mine?

@@user-pi8lv6gy3s Gotcha. It may have been. How many miles are on your accord? Also keep in mind that the starter motors are different between the automatics and the manuals, so the bolt placement might not be abnormal for your specific starter. I would just see what you have to deal with, and go for it!

The J35Z2 (Automatic transmission) and J35Z3 (Manual transmission) use different starter motors.

@@1979royalknight Yes, exactly! You MUST make sure you don’t get the wrong one. Also, thank you for pointing out the difference in the engine codes between automatic and the manual transmission models. I’ll have to make a correction to the video in the description, because I stated that my motor was the J35Z2, when in fact, mine is the J35Z3. Thanks for commenting and checking out my video! -Mark 😎
