In this vlog, we're exploring more of Kuwait City, Kuwait - specifically, some of the fanciest and newest places in the city. We start off at the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Center, which is an incredible museum complex. Then we head over to The Avenues Mall, which for me was the best mall I've ever seen - better than Dubai Mall.

I've never been to Kuwait but it's my favorite country in the Gulf🇹🇷❤️🇰🇼The Emir of Kuwait, who died in the past years, was a very good and peaceful person. I am really sorry for his death.

i was born and i am living in germany. I was also in the ost of the european countries. you can be sure the all gulf states are more developed than the most of the countries in europe. gulf states have more control about their borders and are more friendliy. you can see the friendly people and the respect because of the muslim people.

Avenues Mall is amazing. I remember when I visited and was blown away. That outdoor feeling part of the mall made it feel like I was walking through a small town. It was great. Kuwait is great. I got spoiled by all the good restaurants and food there.

I used to live in Kuwait! (I’m in Egypt now) and it’s such a blast over there, especially for people who like video games and animation/anime! I miss the mall a lot,, glad you had fun!

@@imthias5710 there’s shops such as Geekay (more focused on gaming but yknow you might find anime games), Geek Nation and Uff are the only anime shops I know so far, they’re in the avenues mall and a bunch of other malls in the country

I'm so happy you came to Kuwait to show your subscribers the country. Specially since we are not a touristic country so a lot of people do not know ANYTHING about Kuwait. There are so many more places to explore other than what was shown and I hope one day we start opening up to become a touristic gulf country.

Welcome to Kuwait Doug I hope you’re enjoying your stay and discoveries . The avenues mall has lots of different phases done by the hands of international architects reflecting different eras. I really think you’ll enjoy paying a visit to alshaheed park near your hotel and, if i may, recommend you to book a boat trip to an island where you can sit back and enjoy some fishing and tanning on huge sea floats.

Am from Uganda, am a nanny and when my boss first took me to Avenue Mall, we entered through the side that's designed like a Paris Street, I froze, said some very "abusive" colourful language to express how beautiful that mall is

One of the best malls, they opened The Avenues in Bahrain few years ago and now they are building new one in East Saudi Arabia in Dhahran

This is by far the best coverage/representation the Avenues mall has ever had and a very fair one ☝🏻 I go there every 3-4 days 😊 And you’re right, I’ve been to Dubai mall it’s got nothing on the Avenues including the atmosphere and I’m not being biased as a Kuwaiti :D

As a person who currently lives in Kuwait I have just realized that there are so many more sections of the avenues. Btw this is only phase three-four there is the original avenues and there is the grand avenues. I have just discovered your channel and I am currently loving your videos, keep up the good work!

Good morning Barnard, I was very happy to see your travel experiences.I'm from Bangladesh and I have been there in Kuwait for last 22 years then left end of 2018. During that time I have seen so many developments from the scratch, specially Avenues, Marina, Souk Sharq, Alhamra tower & mall, The Gate Mall, Al-Raya Shopping Center, Al Hamra Business Tower & Shopping Center, Al-Shaheed Park & Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre etc. Me and my family miss Kuwait so much, especially the Arab traditional foods from Al Mubarakiya, we used to have lunch or dinner there every weekend either Avenues mall.Our two children born in Kuwait and they had a lot of pleasure and enjoyed there. So many memories there, Thanks man for refreshing those memories once again.

I lived in Kuwait for 5 years (2013-2018) and seeing The Avenues mall brought back so many memories. They've added a lot to it since 2018 but also so many of the stores and restaurants remain the same. Definitely the best mall I've ever been to and that includes Dubai Mall in UAE and Mall of Asia in Philippines. Thanks for the video and walk down memory lane!

The Avenues is definitely a beautiful mall not to be missed on any trip to Kuwait . The shopping options are amazing . Even some of the restrooms are 5 star luxury 🤣. All types of restaurant and a sea of beautifully dressed people to entertain the eyes. Now all I need is a pocket book that compares to the offerings.

I really love this video, i've never really realised the beauty of the avenues, i live close to the avenues and always go there on weekends so i was just always so oblivious to these little details, and i've never actually been to the avenues gardens before, ive gone to every place in the avenues but never even explored that place, it was great to see it in the video, ill have to see it for myself tho!

There are 2 cinemas actually, the other one is on the other end of the mall. There is also a Hilton hotel at the mall. I hope you enjoy your stay here in Kuwait !

The Cultural Center is nice for sure.... been there done that... but regarding Avenues... definitely arguably the best mall I've ever been to... including America, Middle East, Turkey, Mexico, Malaysia, and more... I could definitely live there 🤣😁 I think i come close to being there almost every day 👍🏻 and i don't even like shopping. 😬

as a kuwaiti i have been in avenues a bunch!!! and honestly seeing it from your perspective has made me realize how beautiful it is! i have been there so many times to the point where i know where everything is

Welcome to Kuwait and your vlog is so amazing💙🇰🇼 I hope you will come to Kuwait again in winter in October or November. It will be better and you will have more activities than in summer because in summer we prefer to go to shopping malls because the weather is very hot. They have opened new malls which I am sure you will love. There are new and very beautiful places in Kuwait, but unfortunately most of the places are open during the winter because they are outdoor places, so it is preferable to come to Kuwait during the winter as it will be better and you will like it at least listen more than in the summer 💙💙💙💙
