Sadly there was a huge fire a few months ago that destroyed half of al Mubarkiya and you should come to kuwait in winter its so beautiful and cosy.

I'm glad to say it only destroyed a small line of shops ... thankfully most of the shops are still alive and well 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I used to live in Kuwait pretty much my whole life (I'm from Florida originally) and nothing beats the hospitality of the people there. Can't wait to visit again this year! the winter is way better than summer tho

@@Rfirglawslcdsm You say "some" people as if you know me. Maybe you are Kuwaiti and trying to defend yourself, but i don't care. Maybe you are nice to people. But i've lived my whole life in Kuwait and South Asian people are victims of discrimination here. Kuwaitis act if they own the world and look down on other people. They have a bad reputation even among other Arabs. I have Kuwaiti friends too and they talk about most of them as arrogant and racists. So don't come at me bruh. Maybe you don't go out too often. Try to interact with most of them and you'll know.

🇰🇼 Al Shaheed Park is the largest urban park in Middle East and North Africa. There is a new phase at 65% completion rate that is supposed to hopefully open at the end of the year. The new phase (phase 3) is as BIG as the current park and will include the following: Outdoor cinema and amphitheater Clock fountain Kids shaded playground Mountains playground Maze garden Outdoor skate and BMX park Outdoor parkour and sky trail Karting Extreme sports building Ice skating rink and snow park Indoor Skydiving Thanks Doug and great video as always! Used to live in Kuwait from '75 to '78. It has certainly changed since that time, but definitely a lot looks familiar and you covered it well! We lived in Salmeah in the El Marzook Building by the water. We attended the American School of Kuwait (That has since been torn down), and my sisters and I still speak about our experiences there. We loved it! Your Arabic is very good (Much better than mine now) :). Great job and safe travels! :)

Visiting kuwait during hot season isnt good at all. The best time to visit kuwait is winter season as you can stay longer in outside area and have some fun with friends by doing picnic..

😂🐪🍪 that camel cookie 07:07 actually meant to be crushed then sprinkled on dates dough dish most native Arabs in the gulf usually use during Ramadan or eid only so now it considered something for the elderly .. it goes great with the sweetness of dates. Really enjoyed your Kuwait’s videos glad I’ve found your channel good luck man & thanks for sharing 🙏🏽

Nice vlog as you interact perfectly with local country except for starbucks ( I prefer tea but that's a personal choice). Kuwait deserves a longer stay specially in the nine Kuwait Islands shown also by the 🇰🇼 Kuwaïti youtuber Lulwa Alkhattaf. Amazing islands like Maldives. So hope to see you more in Kuwait and Gulf. The thing in 6:56 is not made from camel milk and neither is it a cookie, It's called Jameed and it's basically dried yogurt that was made in ancient Arabia to preserve the extra milk they had. when they needed to drink laban which is a drink made out of milk in Arabia, they would add Jameed to a cup of water and have ready made laban milk to drink. it's found in most Arab countries especially the gulf and Jordan and is used in a lot of Jordanian dishes. You can also unseed some dates and add some jameed with ghee and then mix it all up to make one of the prophet Muhammed's (saw) favourite dishes. I hope this was helpful ;)

Nice videos , during winter times (Nov to April) you will see people walking outdoors everywhere, even alot of outdoor activities some organizations does. Mostly in winter kuwait is more fun and easier to tour it

There’s more places That you didn’t visit in kuwait😭 you should come another time and visit 360 mall, alhamra tower, Kuber island, Failaka Island, The Scientific Center, ice skating in Bayan city, kuwait bowling club, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway. All this places are so good im sad that you’re leaving without visiting all this amazing places💔💔 you make feel that my country is boring🤣🤣🤣 but that was a nice short trip❤️ you will be missed❤️🇰🇼.

I liked your report. Kuwait is very hot in the summer. I wish you had tried the Kuwaiti zubaidi fish. It tastes like no other in the world. Kuwait's winter is beautiful and a road trip will be wonderful.

6:50 is actually called "yigitt" in Kuwaiti which is dried yogurt .. not necessarily camel's but can be made of any kind of yogurt. If you tried it thinking it's a cookie, you're definitly wouldn't like it I agree 😅👌🏻

I'm glad that you enjoyed your time in Kuwait, though you would've enjoyed more if your visit was in Winter. By the way, there are two museums in Al-Shaheed Park, The Memorial and Habitat. The Memorial is a short walk through Kuwait history, not only the Gulf war in 1990. It marks all the important events in Kuwait history. While Habitat is about the flora and fauna found in Kuwait.

There are a lot of snacks. I want to try everything. Hahaha~ That city is like soo advanced. Traditional market is so clean and meat market's wooden door is bit different and looks nice. Someday I want to travel. Interesting place.
