I am really excited to find this channel. As a Dallas native I am always interested in pieces of our history. Can't find stuff like this very often.

Dallas seems to have had some sort of a lively downtown back then. Wasn’t that way last time I was there. Just a few business people walking around

Oooooo, Lord have mercy, I remember going to Becks to get that famous baked potato....oh it was so good. I miss them.

That’s definitely the Statler at around 0:52 and here’s still a lot of great places to eat over there.

I hope Downtown will look like a big city just as in that video, people walking, shops, restaurants.

@yes, boy are you wrong. Have you been to Dallas on the last 10 years. Downtown is booming, lots of restaurants and high rise living Sounds like you're just a troll.

yes I love going downtown. A lot of action goes on down there. Fun bars, great high end shopping, performing arts, museums...
