In this video, We will make an IR proximity sensor or we can say touchless door bell or human detector sensor.
An infrared sensor is an electronic instrument which is used to sense certain characteristics of its surroundings by either emitting and/or detecting infrared radiation. In this project, we are using -
IR transmitter and receiver
LM358 IC
10k,220ohm resistor
20k potentiometer
buzzer
9volt battery with clip
breadboard
connecting wires

DPV TECHNOLOGY sir I have been seen the any light glowing on ir transmitter by camera 8x but does not glowing light on ir transmitter is this problem with this

If you not comfortable with English, you can comment in Hindi.Place the ir transmitter and receiver face to face and check.If the circuit is in working condition then buzzer will be on.

I had tried with using a 10k potentiometer again but not working..When i remove the transmitter & Reciever the LED is glowing..When i am inserting Tx the LED is getting dim.Then i kept Rx but still no use .. I kept them closer..plz help me sir i had a project to be submitted..

It is very difficult to predict the problem without observing the circuit. check the wires, connections, check the leds, tx or rx may be damaged. Project is very simple, it must work.

1.First check your wires and connections 2.then if it is okay rotate the trimpot (potentiometer) to a position where buzzer will just stop to sound 3. If it won't work, keep the ir tx and rx very close to each other. Because, the receiver(rx) wont get signal from the transmitter. Most of the cases, it is the reason. So at first keep the tx and rx very close to each other. When it works, then keep increasing the distance between those.

Buzzer keeps on buzzing please help. Edit: working now! Just replaced receiver's anode to cathode and vice versa.

Check your connections. First keep both tx nd rx very close to each other to check whether working or not. Once it worked, increase the gap between them. Bro, it is truely difficult to know the problem without observing the circuit. Try to do that. You will get the result. Check you connectin wires also. They may internally disconnected.use multimeter if possible to test them using beep test

The circuit should be properly connected. the signal is not getting from tx or they may not be aligned
