I have been hanging by a thread last few days. The only thing that keeps me alive is my daughter. I stay alive cuz if I end the pain, a I will be doing is transfer the pain to my child. My child does not deserve that. I know that God is watching me. I know he is there. Finding you today and this seeing this video is just one example of God telling me he is there.

I have been in church all my life and I have never heard the "thorn in Paul's side" preached/taught this way, and I broke down and cried. Thank you, Dr. Phillips. I've been going to therapy on and off since 2017 and it is the greatest investment I've ever made. Also, I'm an ordained preacher, just turned 31, grad student. This was right on time. I shared your message with my church. This was an on time word as well as the Word you spoke at Bishop JAKES church. My church went through a traumatic experience when my pastor’s daughter passed away during a meeting at the church. Our former pastor died in almost the same way almost 4 years ago on the church grounds. This was father and daughter. He 63 and her 38. This has brought healing. I worked the mental health field for about 20 years, went to school and received my master’s in mental health and couldn’t find a place to do my internship. I understand how vital it is for the church to understand mental illness. In our round table discussion on last night, I was able to share the words that relates to fear, anger, anxiety and so forth. WOW this is Good Teaching and Information!!! I know that's right, I am doing the work that needs to be done on me, so that I can be right as well as to be able to effectively help someone else. That story of Jonah, he got outta there running away from God going in the opposite direction. He didn't agree with Gods merciful way. Oh My God, he had a lot of courage, until God checked him. I have worked very well with mental health patients as well as other patients for over 8 years as a regular staff and as a supervisor. These people are looking for the right person(s) to trust and share their traumatic life stories with. I have been confided in so many life stories and their sincere forgiveness for what they have done. Mental Illness is so very Serious and there are so many for so many different reasons. My God, the same technique, medication or whatever the method being used may not work in the same way or not at all for one as it did for another. Having Overall Good Health is so very important. Lack in 1 can limit or totally ruin some of the others. Mental Illness healing restoration and wholeness right now in JESUS NAME!!! God Bless
