when to do splenectomy in sickle cell anemia (as it goes after 8 years usually) As some patient with sickle cell crisis in adult having enlarged spleen And hb electrophoresis show only sickle cell pattern not thalassemia pattern

@@jyoti143_86 corrected esr formula pta hai.. if ht increases.corrected sr also increases.see that formula. it is actually measured esr which is decraesed.may be corrected esr is normal
