Dr. Daphne Bascom earned her PhD in physiological sciences at the University of Oxford, Laboratory of Physiology, in the United Kingdom. She completed her medical degree and residency in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Daphne began her career as a cancer surgeon but grew tired of being in “sick care.” She's now a certified health and fitness coach at The Vegan Gym.

Talking about blood test results. I have a question about the referens intervals. As I understand it it is the result of many or very many test on people of different age and allt that, but how do they fit a vegan lifestyle? Is it possible to adjust for a healthy vegan?
