Dr. Daphne Bascom earned her PhD in physiological sciences at the University of Oxford, Laboratory of Physiology, in the United Kingdom. She completed her medical degree and residency in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Daphne began her career as a cancer surgeon but grew tired of being in “sick care.” She's now a certified health and fitness coach at The Vegan Gym.
