Dr. Daphne Bascom earned her PhD in physiological sciences at the University of Oxford, Laboratory of Physiology, in the United Kingdom. She completed her medical degree and residency in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Daphne began her career as a cancer surgeon, but grew tired of being in “sick care.” She's now a certified health and fitness coach at The Vegan Gym.

Please add the reduced estrogen and its impacts to the brain. There are estrogen receptors in the brain. Menopause (low estrogen) can lead to dementia and alzheimers.

Hi Daphne! I love your content 😊 Of course you talk a lot about exercise and workout which is massively helpful! Thank you for that. But what I am also interested in is the question: How much calories do you burn when you work with your brain? How much more can you eat when you for example study or teach or write many hours of the day? Could you do a podcast about that? I would love that because as a teacher I somtimes feel that the calorie intake that is recommended for my size, age and weight is way too low. Could you explain the science? ❤

Great stuff and great information, but I have to say that what I gathered from the start is that almost the only way for this to be easy is Harmon replacements….. 🤷‍♀️

Hi can clear protein (protein water) help towards daily protein goals.?

It doesn't have the nutrients as a whole protein rich food.

@@nicholeh1280 i eat a tonne of protein rich foods also but drink clear protein throughout the day..... your saying if i have 30grams of clear protein it does not count?
