Introducing our latest masterpiece: the epic new epoxy river run table, destined to be the showstopper of his KZfaq setup! Crafted with meticulous attention to detail and an artistic flair, this stunning piece seamlessly blends natural beauty with modern design.
The process begins with selecting the finest quality wood, chosen for its unique grain patterns and durability. Each plank is carefully handpicked to ensure a harmonious composition, setting the stage for the mesmerizing epoxy river that will flow through the heart of the table.
Next comes the intricate design phase, this is where the creative vision comes to life. With precision and skill, I mapped out the contours of the river, considering every twist and turn to evoke a sense of flowing movement. The riverbed is expertly carved into the wood, creating a seamless channel for the epoxy resin to pour into.
Now, it's time for the magic to happen. Vibrant hues of blue, turquoise, and aquamarine are meticulously mixed to achieve the perfect color palette for the epoxy river. With steady hands and an artist's touch, the resin is carefully poured into the carved riverbed, filling it with shimmering liquid beauty.
As the epoxy cures, it transforms into a crystal-clear, glass-like surface, capturing the essence of flowing water frozen in time. The wood is lovingly sanded and polished to a smooth, glossy finish, enhancing the natural beauty of the grain and providing a striking contrast to the vibrant river below.
Finally, the table is assembled with precision, with each component meticulously fitted together to ensure stability and longevity. The result is nothing short of breathtaking: a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that serves as the centerpiece of Dr. Berg's KZfaq setup, captivating viewers with its beauty and craftsmanship.

Nice table😃 I did the reverse and made mine with the live bark edge on the outside and epoxy with shattered tempered blue and bronze glass on the inside. Then under lit the table. Makes a wonderful living room piece topped with 8mm tempered glass that matches the contouring of the bark edge and sits on a customized black triangle set of legs👌🏻

@st.pierrewoodworkindandsawmill Thank you! I had to think of a different way to make the coffee table look like a river bed without the live edge in the middle, so choosing bronze glass for the shoreline and then blue glass in the middle made that workout.I am happy the way it came out and it can now be passed down the family line as something special if I'm so fortunate👍🏻

New subscriber, Thanks to Dr. Berg. I was wondering why you used a piece of steel to join the legs instead of using walnut to mortise and tenon the legs together. Mixing the pigment into the epoxy was a good idea, because it gave the illusion of water flowing instead of one flat color. Great Job!
