Even though I am not a physician, I'm pretty sure that once the baby starts to crown that you can't flip the baby like that or even try. The uterus would have already contracted too much, removing the space needed. As she said, they should have performed a c-section by that point. Also, while a breach birth is possible, its not recommended as the difficulty of achieving a successful delivery with reduced risk or injury to the baby is increased (not many doctors are skilled or comfortable enough to do them). Even so, the whole point of him even attempting a vaginal delivery was by using the baby's head as a pressure plug against the bleeding placenta. During his first attempt when the baby couldn't fit, the head had already disturbed the placenta. Then, more disturbance happens while flipping the baby, and now that the baby is flipped with it's body hanging out, during all this time passing by, there is a significantly reduced to not enough stable pressure on the placenta to keep it from bleeding, which was the whole point of what he was trying to do. The patient already gave consent to abandon the birth plan, something that in reality is not needed as birth plans typically fly out the window when it comes down to the safety and well-being of both mom and baby. He should have forgone his ego and performed a c-section. As seen right after in this clip, he probably didn't want to get stuck in the OR for an extended amount of time performing the surgery because he needed his fix instead. Also, he's extremely hypocritical about saying earlier that he wouldn't jeopardize a patient's safety. What OB leaves IMMEDIATELY after the baby pops out with a mother who is known to be at high risk and is in the process of hemorrhaging?! WTF? He was so concerned for his own high that he completely forgot that his patient had placenta previa? Again, going back to beginning of the video, he already knew that a vaginal birth would cause damage to the vessels and she would start to hemorrhage, his plan being that the baby's head would stop the bleed. That 'stop' however, is only temporarily, something he obviously forgot about. Once there is no head/baby anymore, there is ZERO pressure to stop the bleed, and he just walks off leaving the resident on her own. MASSIVE FAILURE!

Yeah honestly if a doctor is going to do drugs when they should be . . . you know doing doctor stuff then they don't deserve to be a doctor. You kind of need to be all there when dealing with people's lives.
