Dr Reddy-Worst Generic Ever?

Cvs seems to be forcing everybody into these Dr. Reddy generics so after hearing all the horror stories for months , I’m going to dive in and let you guys now and give you report back in a week…Whether the reaction was overblown or if it was justified will find out

Thank you for sharing! I’m here because after being on one brand generic for seven years I started having dr. Reddys as part of my monthly script until two months ago where my full month was Dr. R. I finally realized that the anxiety, days of sadness and chronic pain ( two accidents and TBI) that I started not being able to control any longer for the past YEAR isn’t the loss of my dad or life situations that I was blaming! last month after being given the wrong dosage ( not realizing until that evening when I was three hours away for a week) and my sleepless night of not able to change my thoughts to shut off my head realized that it has been this script! June 13 was 8 years sober ( after a decade of being in & out of the rooms and almost losing my life) and it was the worse than any of my first three! Today my dr. As well increased the dosage. Sadly I was given tablet form instead of the strips! At first I was upset at another mistake but when I realized that these tablets are a different brand I decided to try them. Fingers crossed….!

Thank you for giving your perspective on these. I have been on Subs for 12 years I live in CT. I always got brand name until 2 years ago, I got the yellow ones & they were fine. 3 months ago, I had to switch to Stop & Shop Pharmacy because CVS didn't have my meds in stock at all!! Stop & Shop gives Dr. Reddy's and they suck!

I moved to Hawaii and I go to cvs which is called longs there. I get my script in a zip lock bag too. I get Mylan brand. I found this video from another video of a lady asking about white spots. A lot of people are getting that confused with the specks in the generics...it's not that. Somehow moisture has got to them and there will be white dots all over it.

In July express scripts stoped paying For the name brand and started pushing this crap. For July and August I paid just under $500 to get my prescriptions with the discount card and I realized really quick that I couldn’t continue to do that so for September and October I have gotten dr reddy. Most definitely a rough couple of weeks adjusting I’m making it work but I still do not feel the same and it’s horrible that a generic medication can be this bad. It’s all about that money. Good luck man and hopefully there’s a good resolution to this issue but we all know if you’re broke you’re a joke.

Damn $500 uggh that is beyond ridiculous . I’m not an advocate for free health care but damn we gotta do something soon.. Glad to hear ur body begins to get adjusted however it doesn’t sound like it ever gets back to how it was with a name brand or even the good generics .. man I’m praying that at some point they switch their generic back or move on idk.. Makes sense that they are horrible so they have a million in stock.just suck we have to pay the price for these insurance scumbags… Well good luck to u as well and thanks for the info and ur opinion … We will all get through this together ..

@@dansroadtorecovery5563question - when you say that a person can go through withdrawals quicker - do you mean like if a person goes a day and a half then they might go through withdrawals? - there is no way I should be going withdrawals taking 2 a day right??

@@christopherbrock8913 CVS been giving me Mylan. I’ve got used to them now. Occasionally they will have Alvogen but getting by with the Mylan

Oh no, so sorry ur dealing with that trash brand … Maybe try another pharmacy next month? If ur insurance allows it , that could be a way to get a better generic but for time being call ur provider and let them know . U should be able to bring them back and write u a new script and send it as “Brand Only” or even send it to another pharmacy tomorrow minus the # u took already Just some ideas .. I wish you the best you can’t go on like that. Keep me posted !

Nearly all pharmacies near me have gone to Dr Reddy's and they really aren't phenominal and in fact I think they should remake their formula or just not compete at all. Alvogen and Mylan are exemplary. But Dr Reddy's just plain sucks. I'm in this exact same boat.

I'm lucky to have the real suboxone sublingual pills since the beginning, my doc always write in my script do not substitute because she does believe that the other brand are weaker. I hope you won't get sick and pharmacist can be so rude (like we are wasting their time or something).. Please let me know how you are doing, hit me in a cpl of day.. Great video Brother 👍💯

🙏🏻 I agree brother! I’ve been getting that kind for awhile and IMO they trash! Now I only get name brand, I just asked my doc and she switched it. Ty for making videos such as this. Dr ready is horrible. At the moment I’m on medicaid unfortunately but they been covering name brand

Hey man thanks for watching. Yeah I’m def anxious about trying them out & I may have to suck it up and get name brand but the prices kill me since my insurance won’t cover it. It’s a really screwed up situation . I may have to look into the shot (vivitrol) . But I’ll keep ya updated and make sure to hit me up 🤙 if ya have any questions

CVS Caremark Through my wife’scorporate CVS job. Possibly because it’s employee plan that is why we can only go to CVS.. Hey thanks for watching BTW

The doctor Reddy brand in my opinion was not nearly as bad as others complained they are.Once you get over the flimsy feeling of the crapplily produced film and the different not quite a orangey of a taste HONESTLY I couldn’t tell the diff … but that’s just me and my body chemistry obviously everybody gets different results . BTW sorry I didn’t post an update yet I just moved into an apartment two weeks ago still trying to get settled ..
