Many patients of Caring Medical know that we used to have a natural medicine clinic in Chicagoland, and saw many patients for diet-related conditions like heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Dr. Ross and Marion Hauser wanted to discuss a little bit about the Hauser Diet principles and history of getting into natural medicine after being traditionally trained in diet methods that were not as effective. We write about various health topics in our weekly articles which are available for free. Email DrHauser@caringmedical.com to sign up.

Over 80 pounds heavier ago, I was in the middle of treatment by Dr Hauser, when he said I needed to keep a food diary. I was offended, and couldn’t let it go. I thought, “How could he say such a thing knowing the pain I suffer?”… But by the grace of God, I was able to stop the sugar & processed foods & came off over a dozen meds. Thank you for sharing the truth about sugar and real food. These types of videos are free to learn from and can save people so much time and money in their health journey.

Can being overweight be a symptom? Can you be malnourished and overweight? The 'hot and cold' thing sounds similar to thoughts on Chinese medicine. Wondering if Marion has experience treating patients with MCAS? Especially those that have severe GI issues and can eat very few foods without triggering them.

This is so sweet. ❤. I make a similar herb pesto ,too. Mine has brazilian nuts. And no lemon juice. I will try the red wine vinegar! What a great idea. Thanks

You can do all of your shopping, then chopping vegetables on Friday afternoon, it will make things faster. Then just cook during the week. Also, I never take the skin off carrots, just wash the dirt off and chop or slice into quarters or any shape you like.

Great question - Choose a variety of dark green and brightly colored fruits and vegetables to obtain the most antioxidants, which protect eyes by reducing free radical damage that can cause age-related eye diseases. We have an article about vision and food choices! caringmedical.com/vision-and-your-diet/

The doctors won't tell you this, but mother's milk is the best food for babies, it has colostrum in the beginning which helps the baby's intestinal system go in the right direction. That formula stuff is junk food for babies, probably why so many children are obese these days. Read the book Nursing Your Baby by Karen Pryor, she published a newer edition in the 90s.

Help pls! I need a doctor but my parents don't want to. I am 14, I have had brain fog since I was 12. I feel something on my neck, it's so irritating! I think it's the reason. Even if do chin tucks it just makes it worse. Why I am having brain fog? I don't have neck pain, but when I move my head forward and point my head upwards I feel like my neck is not aligned, not sideways! I always lay down because it is very difficult for me to focus when I sit down. I also have allergy with pluged nose. I use my nasal spray but it doesn't work. Please give my some advice and diagnosis. My parents really do not want to go to the doctor. I just want my parents to get me to the doctor. Thank you!

There's a pillow that has a bump where your neck indents and it supports it much better than a regular pillow. Not sure where to buy one now.
