I think the implication is more like using makeup to cover up nature's mistakes is a necessary part of living in a civilized society. Like clothes or showering, or thinly veiled hatred for babies.

LOVED Season 2 of Russian Doll. Brilliant, mind bending and confusing as F at times but that last episode really got to me! IT was crazy, heart felt and mind altering. I hope there will be a season 3!

I love Russian doll. The second season was even more fun and dark, funny interesting... She is very Larry David Jewish icon 💖😍 I love how she goes back to her Mum then her grandma in Hungary during WW2 hiding her Jewish identity with her friend who was a Gypsy also hiding.
