Gianmarco Soresi is a stand-up comedian, actor, and a little too much for some people. He’s told jokes on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central, Netflix’s Bonding, Don't Tell, The Real Housewives of New York for some reason, and he was a JFL New Face in 2022. He's acted in Billy Crystal's Here Today, Hustlers, The Last OG, and in his theater days shared the stage with some people who've gone on to become huge real estate agents. You can see him post the kind of crowd work clips that are arguably destroying the artform of stand-up comedy everywhere @gianmarcosoresi and he obviously has a podcast called The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi.

Pointing to edge cases that have done bad things (if they have even happened in the first place) and propping that up as representative of an entire community is just plain ignorance and malice. @@AlexReynard Teachers and drag queens can be synonymous because they both tend to groom children, and sometimes drag queens are brought to schools. Just recently, a drag queen that was employed as a principal in a school in Oklahoma has been found to have a criminal record of being arrested 20 years ago for allegedly possesing cp. Although the case was dismissed, intuition would tell you that if this man really was innocent, why would he still center his career in an environment that's full of children? So yeah these two things can collide with each other.

@@sekaiyoru01 Sure, they *can.* I just have never heard of any case of a drag queen actually fucking a kid. What I see is, they seem to be bait/shield. As in, people who go along with Queer Theory bring them in to begin acclimating children to 'alternative modes of behavior', or whatever that creepy-ass academic paper calls it. This softens the kids up, priming the pump for the pedos. Drag Queens are kind of the equivalent of rodeo clowns. They are bright and flashy and attract the attention of angry bulls[parents], whose focus is taken away from where the cause of their anger belongs.

It’s so anxiety inducing/such a rush to be in front of an audience it can be hard to stay completely lucid so the way he always give them the time and can just stand there? Even if not confident, I find it admirable as a performer esp

I usually avoid glitter, it just is not my style, but when I was at the Christopher street day pride parade, I kinda ended up with a lot of it in my hair and well, even after washing it several time.... For one thing, not only do church leaders have more access to children than drag queens (Maybe couple hundred kids or so might go to a drag show or story hour where the parents are always present, but hundreds of thousands of kids go to church every week or sometimes twice a week, and all the churches I've been in have a kids church separate from the adult church, where kids are only around church leaders, and no parent supervision. At which event would kids be targeted more?) But church leaders would be able to cover up the abuse more than a drag queen or trans people would too. So that would be the argument that the satire is based on.

Subversion of expectation. I did not expect him to say that. Rather than worrying about whether he should be checking in or leaving his black friends alone, he first needs to get black friends. It’s funny because we as an audience are under the assumption he has black friends already with the setup.

Cos of the reality that most white people whether thru actual racial prejudices or merely circumstances preventing one socially from ever having a chance to meet people of different backgrounds due to systemic segregation and inequal wage gaps of communities for generations, white people have often difficulty finding and making close black friends, despite this being often an uncomfortable fact, few white people even very liberal and open-hearted ones, feel okay with owning up and admitting it.

@@avosmash2121i only ever had someone black in my class for like a year, I was friends with her, but then she moved and where I lived, most people with migration background came from other European countries or turky, so yeah, no opportunity. I also very much do not agree that "one should go around in an effort of being inclusive and collect all the skin colors or continents in ones friend group like those people are stickers for an album and if you got them all, you get a trophy...." That mentality appears extreamly racist to me, even if it is ment to be the opposite. Where someone is from, or what their sexuality is never factored into who I approach or am friends with, nor do I think it should matter to anyone. Skincolor does not define you, nor dictat your hobbies or other preferences which are way better indicates for who you will get along with.

James 5 1:6 condemns those who wear gold while their fellow children of God starve in the street. Jesus said "he who had two tunics must give one to the person with none." Does anyone in your congregation have more than they need? Does you church confront them with that fact daily, or does your church only serve to make people feel better about themselves? How big is your church? Jesus preached in the slums. Why do churches require such lavish and vain structures? I mean just the phrase "wear your Sunday best." Is vain and defiles any possibility of the place being a holy ground. Because it equates human vanity with God's desire. Most modern churches even the "good ones" are just houses of blasphemy. Pray on your knees behind closed doors. The Church on exists to serve those with little.
