Arl Eamon fails to understand that Mabari hounds are EXTREMELY loyal to the people they imprint upon, not to mention they have human-like intelligence.. I am baffled why they'd leave the choice there, then say no right after..

I've never trusted a companion more than I trusted Booker (my Mabari) he defeated Flemeth by himself, and he was the only member who never died

You can go further than that, if dog is one of three your companions rather than a modded plus one. You can insist, Eamon still disagrees, you can still insist, and then Alistair says he'll fight.

It was so great having the mabari be a summon in Dragon Age II, you really got the notion of mabari loyalty and intelligence in Hawke's interactions with his/her loyal beast.

Making a mabari duel Loghain would probably be the best way to resolve this without bloodshed - for all his assholery, Loghain would never hurt a doggo. He'd surrender instantly.

Eamon is truly aware of how OP Overwhelm was as a move and although wanted Loghain bested, he had been Overwhelm-spammed enough in his lifetime to want to wish it upon even his worst enemy.

If Alister stays in your party, make him King or Awakening may get confusing In the human noble origin, Morrigan says Flemeth saved you and Alister, but she doesn’t mention the dog. Yet to my surprise the dog is outside the hut. Did Flemeth save the dog, or did he find his own way there?

It's sad how logain was so caught up in his own bullshit back then, since in inquisition he was so badass. He clearly paid for his mistake, and he owned up to it with both sadness and bravery. I never forget how he said "I already know I'm a broken and unforgivable bastard, is that the best you got, demon? I spent years knowing that!" Or along those lines when you're in the rift with him lol it just surprised me how easily sympathetic I am towards him, cuz he accepted responsibility and shows deep regret.

Eeamon this dog saved your castle and family, you know damn well he will turn that filth inside out so let it happen. In my playthrough that adorable mutt bit chunks out of the Archdemon.

The fact that you can't actually tear Loghain's throat out with the dog is the biggest tease in the game.

Actually, if what they say like a thousand times throughout the game is correct, the only impartial being in that room is your dog since mabaris only obey their masters.

Imagine if Darkspawn had endless amounts of leftover ham bones. First time I played my Mabari killed Flemeth and we all know how strong she is. (Those who've played Inquisition knows what she is too.) Put 2 and 2 together and you've got the Darkspawn apocalypse.

I always let Alistair fight Loghain. But then I always play as a Human Noble and Arl Howe is the Human Noble's personal enemy. Loghain is Alisatirs.

i was loving this game so much until the game decided i couldn't have THE BOI duel Logain. Even though he's THE BOI. 0/10 worse than ME3's ending.

But they do not have a say in destiny from their country?! it sounds a bit hypocritical for me but hey.
