Dragon Quest XI S : Calasmos in 2 rounds

Kinda overdue, but here's an attempt to take down the Final Boss, Calasmos in 2 rounds (normal difficulty).
Calasmos has about 11k HP, so the 15k victimiser damage should have taken him out, but oh well, animations.

I got the game recently, and it's Erik who's doing most of the damage! I've seen a lot of videos where players neglect Erik and subsequently run into trouble...

@@kishire_pantera_ Agree, most people doesnt know how to use his combo to dish out big damage either. That said, he doesn't really shine until end act 2 and act 3 because most of his powerful skills are at the end of the tree which requires alot of SP.

I never use erik, however, I always keep him equipped with double boomerangs.

I have played through this game twice, but have still never even attempted this fight. Definitely gonna be farming strength seeds for this one.

It's really not that hard. As long as you do all the ACT 3 stuff, you'll be perfectly balanced for it.

If you can get 2x Magic bursts at 999 MP to do 9999 damage each then a 1 turn kill SHOULD be possible.

How can I get Erick to take critical hits with the victimization? I need to kill Timewyrm :( I can’t

You'd need to land a poison with cobra strike, then cast divide and then victimiser. Only if the enemy is poison then Erik can deal 6x the damage, with divide, the damage is further multiply by 3. You can also check out my Timewyrm video for strategies, link on the description. Hope it helps!

A "round" is completed when all party have had their turn. So yes, this is 2 rounds.

I killee calasmos without weakening him eith all members being pevep 99, fed by a lot of seeds and insane erik damages He is the main damage dealer in party and with his stealing ability he is very surgul to farm items too, generally very useful character alongside with sereba a main healer and maybe hendrik to use as a tank and the rest r optional

If you are lucky to poison the boss yes, but still Veronica is the true boss killer

@@Valborn_ Ok that's pretty fair, I considered it 3 because hero went 3 times but forgot that you can't go past all the checks at once.

That was 8 rounds not two because your characters went twice and each action counts as a round in dragon quest

This is wrong. A round is counted when every party member and enemy has finished their turn. The same rule applies to the Wheel of Harma challenges which count the amount of turns it takes.
