trying some new things, instead of a new big game coming out and I just play it and don't turn it into a video (because it's too big etc) instead I just do a highlight reel like a normal video without the overarching full game don't worry the usual full game videos aren't going anywhere

@@Jhenaro that's not really true, nor is it excusable. The developers are incentived to add more grinding and time specifically to get money. Plus, some aren't, such as the character customization

Totally worth it! If performance bugs you it's reasonable to wait for a patch but the gameplay is incredible lol

It runs fine for some people if that helps, for me it stays well above 60 fps almost everywhere at 1440p with everything maxed including ray tracing. Can drop down to 40 in the capital city but I didn’t bother turning any settings down because you’re not really even fighting there. I tried DLSS too and that kept me above 60 in the capital, 110+ everywhere else. The game is a lot like DD1 including some of the same poor design decisions but it’s incredibly fun, I’d definitely recommend it

My biggest issues are the inability to dodge, no lock-on, and the shaders making everything look like I have sunglasses on. Really holds the game back.

@@windex527 I haven't played it but I assume dodge is in the game and it's just locked to a particular weapon or in this case something like the thief vocation. Lock on used to be possible with a shield raises and a stick flick but it wasn't useful, and other than that it was just magic or archery which I'm sure it still is available. None of these things will be a problem for me because as I said, I played the first

@@windex527lock on would actually be bad for this game, there’s so much shit going in fights that being locked on to one enemy would be really bad. Any fight with just one enemy is usually a giant monster that you won’t need to lock on to because they are so big.

@@luckybutler6566it isn't an economic decision for such a big studio. they wanted to do it that way for different reasons. One I can think of is that a producer probably knows someone who records cooking and wanted their work in their game

2 things I learned pretty quick playing this game: 1: Theives are busted 2: The game is easy enough that I don't need a busted class. Theif can literally win just spamming X, gets kinda boring after a while.

its more fun to lasso them on the ground and impale them through the ribs. Mystic spearhand is even more broken. You can make your party immune to damage for like 10 seconds, have infinite stamina, and still have two slots for attack abilities.

3:27 fun fact, in my first run Gregor died to de goblins right before this gate, meaning I couldn't pass it. "Oh well I'll just start a new game and be more careful with... What you mean there's no New Game option?" Anyway this lead me to travel to the capital by getting through a a cave full of harder enemies, *on foot*, *WITHOUT CAMPING PACKS*, CHASED BY WOLVES SPECTRES AND UNDEAD only to be told THAT I NEEDED A PERMIT TO ENTER THE CITY. I said "screw it" and tried to enter anyway and got thrown in jail.

The story was no where to be seen but the combat was incredible. the true ending kinda makes up for the bad story, though you need to do a lot of things to get everyone's affinity up to get some extra scenes

I remember for the duel with the catman with a greatsword, I'd just swapped to sorcerer, but didnt have my staff. So I got stuck fighting him with just fists. After I hit him with a shoryuken, the fight just abruptly ended.
