This is all six parts of the Dragon's Fire sleep story and the prequel. As most of you will know, at some point the previous Dragon's Fire sleep stories for grownups compilation developed a fault in the video where the audio cuts out towards the end of the video. Despite this that video has remained one of my most popular I was reluctant to remove it from KZfaq and replace it, but have decided that I will re-upload the entire story again, but this time, as well as all 6 parts, I am including the prequel in the video so that you don't have to find and listen to that separately.
*This story involves fantasy violence and isn't a 'relaxing' tale like most of my sleep meditations. If you don't like Lord of the Rings style stories and fantasy violence then this isn't going to be for you.

This hypnotic bedtime story about a wizard having to defeat an ice dragon, which is attacking villages and is the prequel to the Dragon's Fire series.

00:24:00 Episode One: The Journey Begins
Hyland the wizard’s apprentice, hears screaming from the nearby village. He runs to the village, notices smoke bellowing into the air from the village and notices a red dragon attacking the village. Hyland helps to rescue people as the wizard protects and fights the dragon. After the dragon leaves, the wizard tells Hyland that he needs to find Fezler the dwarf, Kroger the elf and Piper the siren to go on a journey through the realms, working together to defeat the dragons and master mind, body, spirit and magic and then achieve enlightenment to complete his quest against the black dragon.
00:52:07 Episode Two: The Red Dragon
Hyland and the group descend from the plateau down into the valley in search of the red dragon. Hyland needs to perfect his mind abilities to defeat the red dragon.
01:14:13 Episode Three: The Green Dragon
After defeating the red dragon and making the village safe for now, Hyland was aware that this was just the beginning, they had to now find and deal with the dragon in the mountain realm. He had mastered his mind to tackle the first dragon, using the mental skills of Fezler, now he needed to develop his body. Hyland, Piper, Fezler and Kroger started ascending the mountain.
01:40:44 Episode Four: The Blue Dragon
Hyland and the group descended the mountain and entered the desert to go in search of the blue dragon. Hyland used a spell to track the blue dragon. The spell gave a floating light in his hand with the bright side of the light pointing towards the dragon and the dimmer part of the light pointing away from the dragon.
02:02:02 Episode Five: The Purple Dragon
After defeating the blue dragon, Hyland and the group headed out of the desert and into the realm of night where it was in almost permanent darkness.
02:23:07 Episode Six: The Black Dragon, Journey’s End
Following the defeat of the purple dragon, Hyland and the group left the night realm and entered into the death realm. This realm was at the base of the volcano where life struggled to survive. They needed to find the book of enlightenment to defeat the black dragon.

I'm not likely to do that as it would be a difficult and time consuming task. Obviously the idea of the compilations is that you are listening from the beginning and want something which plays for a long time rather than something you listen to from a different point each night. All the meditations are as individual videos on my channel for those who want to listen to each one rather than all of them back to back like here.

There are no guitar chords at the end, there is silence, you must have had the beginning of another video play.

Dan Jones! I have been here since you were at about 28 k subscribers and I remember leaving a comment that you would be at 100 k in no time! You replied (I felt so special! :) ) saying your next goal was 50 k. But look at you now! You've done so well and I am so amazed at the never-ending well of creativity that is your mind! I'm sure I speak for everyone here, when I say thank you for all you do for us. Your stories have touched so many people that you could fill a stadium with them! Thank you again Dan, and I will be joining your Patreon soon, now that I've found a great new bartending job (while I go to school) and will be able to with my first check! I live on the cash tips and only deposit my checks to save or for online purchases like that. Anyway, I hope you make a good amount from the ads though; I feel pretty guilty to have benefited from your work so much already without giving something back. I doubt I would have made it through my recent troubles as well as I have without your comforting words at night. Well, it's quite late here on the East Coast of The States (Capitalization? As long as it is viable I will continue to make stories. Relying on just KZfaq ad revenue doesn't make it viable now far fewer people are viewing my videos than used to, which is why I've set up Patreon, to try to make it viable so that I don't have to give it up. If I have to find employment, rather than being self-employed making these sleep stories, then I would have to give making them up because I would be working full-time. Over the last few months I've been trying to do everything I can to avoid that happening and I so far am just about scraping by each month, managing to avoid having to give it up and get a job...

Love the stories, hate the rude awakening as KZfaq plays a loud advert just as I've drifted off.

That is very annoying. As the creator, I obviously have mid and post roll adverts turned off so that they won't show during our after videos, but this is the third comment on one of my videos this week from someone saying they have had an advert during my videos. Obviously when I check, I can see that the adverts are off, but clearly KZfaq is ignoring our settings as creators because they want us to have adverts on during our videos. Last time I had this problem with KZfaq I complained almost continuously from about summer 2018 until winter 2019, with KZfaq support claiming no adverts were showing and my viewers aren't correct when they say that they are. Then in winter 2019 KZfaq announced that they had been trialling having adverts on in videos to see if it significantly impacted viewer retention - it didn't, so they said that in summer 2020 they would be turning midroll adverts on in all eligible videos on KZfaq. I tried to opt out and stop it, but they turned all my adverts on. I turned them all off again, but then in about September 2020 I had a video release with adverts every 3 minutes through a 60 minute video making it unwatchable. I complained to KZfaq, they initially dismissed me, then many of my viewers complained to KZfaq and they looked into it, concluding it was an error that is now fixed and won't happen again, but over the last few weeks I'm getting more and more comments like this and I saw another similar channel have to do a community post announcement about the issue happening on their channel, but I know KZfaq will deny it if I raise with them again, and even if they say it ain't happen again, it has been happening for four years with only 2021 not getting complaints from viewers about adverts in my videos, so I hope that this doesn't become a thing again, making this type of content unwatchable on KZfaq... If it does happen again, it is helpful seeing the contents, because it lets me know it is happening and adds to evidence that it is happening, although there is probably little I can do about it other than share your frustration and annoyance and apologise that you had adverts where there shouldn't be any...

Quick question, is the wizard in the prologue the same wizard that fought the red dragon in part 1?

The wizard in the prologue is the one that is fighting the first dragon in part 1 who gets injured and so his apprentice Hyland has to go and take on the dragon's in his place...

I have midroll and postroll ads turned off, so once the video starts you shouldn't get any adverts as long as you don't have it on autoplay which would mean you may get adverts playing at the start of whatever video autoplays after this video, but that wouldn't be anything to do with this video, that would be the advert at the start of another video...

What makes them not quality stories? The stories in this video have been listened to over half a million times here on KZfaq alone. This is a re-upload (with the prequel added) of my most popular video currently on my channel and my second most popular video I've ever had on my channel and my most requested story to do sequels to. All the sleep meditation stories on my channel therapeutically help the listener with stress, anxiety and worry as well as helping them sleep and are designed to be experiential, to give the listener an experience of absorption within the story rather than a sense of just passively listening to a story in the background, so that the listener has an inner sensory experience, almost like dreaming the story.

Yeah how are they not quality? They are great and perfect for what they are meant. If you want something that has twists and turns and action (stuff that keeps your mind awake) then you're in the wrong place.

Bit unnecessarily rude mate, let's be fair this is hardly constructive criticism is it? It's just you having a pop at him for your own tastes. Personally I love Dan's stories more than others I've heard. I rarely get to the end of them and even when I do I find I've enjoyed the whole thing. The Underwater Pyramid, Down the Prehistoric Rabbit Hole, and Time For Love spring to mind as examples of this. Even those I've fallen asleep on re-listens. I get that if you've been aggressively listening to sleep stories you're probably really sleep deprived but you still don't actually have to be a dick about it.

Nobody is forcing you to listen. Loads of people enjoy them. I'd much rather listen to these stories than be the kind of person who has nothing better to do than leave rude comments on the internet.

I think your stories are great, well what I get to hear. I go to sleep easily with your voice, so I miss most of them- but that is the intention.
