I don't understand the USP of the first one, I don't look at an Indian sauce and say "oh I'll pick this because they also sell Chinese sauces".

Like for cost of pouches vs a bottle is not relevant for the problem she is trying to solve. It is better to buy a bottle if you are going to use it all but for a one of meal then the pouch is the winner.

Silicone is plastic. The only functional difference is that it takes even longer to degrade.

The guy doing the first pitch was a muppet and Deborah really did not like him, especially when he cockily said he "sold drugs" before launching this. Jokes like that are not taken well in the Den and Deborah had a face like thunder. I don't blame her either.
