Is this in relation to the first story and the guild's "Super Evil Memes of Racism and Bigotry"? I'm thinking it's more of an ideological thing that's making these people react in such a way, given that at some point Bex was saying that the guild was the "American Right Wing Party", which sounds... Rather out of touch. Granted, hard to tell if the memes really were as bad as the author described them (The guildies didn't sound the nicest), but it does lead one to question things. Pretty sure this is also Mike just acting up for the public so as to not get in trouble with any zealous PC viewers.

@@Kalgert actually no, I was referring to almost every story he tells. His mannerisms, how he takes things. I've watched the same pattern in a lot of my fav brits and it's simply becoming more obvious over time.

I think it comes down to a few things: The UK being a surveillance state (Has been a few instances of people being arrested for posts on Twitter), political leanings (I at least know Mike is a remainer based off of one comment he made in these Drama Times) and just the general state of being online. I'm not willing to discount as well that it might kust he the UK people having a not-so-combative spirit for most of the people.

@@PointlessCam Nah it is just cringe. I know a guy who is Canadian who is massively cringe who talks about nothing but American politics. It is one thing if you have a stake in your own countries politics, most normal people will view you as a weirdo, but to have an emotional stake in a foreign country's political party it is massively cringe. Would you not feel weirded out if a guy in America who had never been to the UK, constantly referenced the SNP or pick any other foreign political party every time something bad happened in his life?

@@ColCoal I hate political parties in general and I do think both of the US ones are just as bad as each other for varying reasons, but I don't think it's weird to associate being openly bigoted with the party that prides itself on more open bigotry.
