The subtitles made it seem as though the emperor just cursed at her, but never touched her. Kinda confused here.

I can't stand her character. 35yrs. I still love my first love.owns a place in my heart. But husband of 26 yrs. Owns a place in my heart. I love him and we are more compatible. Love doesn't die. You just find a greater one

Yeah, I like this actor too......It's a shame that he acted in so little films. I've been waiting for another one of his work after watching "The Wrong Couple 1" where he's main lead. There are "Cruel Romance", "Memory Loss" and finally this, "Queen Dugu" but too bad he isn't the main character in any of these. In fact he played the bad guy lol.... It's about time for a director to let him play lead in a good film.

I didnt like the twist and remake of this Queen Dugu i already watch the story of Dugu(Legend of Dugu) and this one has a different plot.

Hunter JB I agree. This one the story seems bland and the main lead have no chemistry together. The female lead seems way older than the male lead. Also this queen Dugu is being such a bitch to her son to the point that he go crazy and doesn’t trust her husband. Legend of Dugu focused on the big sister story first than come down to the little sister but this one we only see the big sister for like 3 episode and than she die.

Chen Xiao is no longer hot 😭. He used to be so good looking! I loved him in the Palace movie. But now, he has "touched up" his face & he no longer looks how he used to! Lot of people do touch ups, plastic surgery, Botox, etc to enhance their looks. But Chen Xiao didn't enhance any of his good looks, but hindered it 😭

Elaine Michelle T His face looks so unnatural now. Maybe he used too much Botox and other stuff which sadly makes you age faster instead of slower. He should have just aged gracefully and naturally.

Elaine Michelle T Exactly and I thought I was the only one to notice it. Glad you did too. He used to be very handsome and had a natural face but his face looks plastic and waxy. All actresses and actors should just age naturally as I am sure they would look better and more graceful instead of trying to fight it. The more you fight it the older and messed up you end up looking as we can see with Chen Xiao.
