I love how if you transcribed Drawfee, without actually _hearing_ them, Julia talks like she’s an advanced AI trying to learn what comedy is and failing really badly in a hilariously entertaining way. I have no clue how her mind works or where she comes up with stuff, but it’s always just a few steps away from the obvious and a few inches into the realm of the absurd and always requires a few extra steps to explain. Like an A.I. trying to learn what comedy is… like when those A.I. see a cat in a cardboard box and is like “furry dwarf driving ugly car” and you’re like ‘Wtf?! Who taught this AI this?! Why the hell would something EVER be a furry dwarf driving a tiny box shaped car next to a sofa?! It makes no goddamn sense?!’ and yet it’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen. That’s Julia. Dark and fighting type could be considered opposites! Dark type is already in many cases heavily referencing a heel, as in wrestling. Which is why a lot of dark type moves are dirty wrestling moves (ie: bite, sucker punch, throat chop). While fighting type is like an honorable hero, who uses acceptable fighting techniques. (which is also why incineroar is a dark type)

1:30 I really appreciate how comfortable Snorlax looks laying on top of Jacob’s head.

The Togedamaru bit had me crying laughing in a way I haven’t in a long time, holy crap. I was in physical pain in the best way. I needed that laugh, thank you Julia and the rest of you for playing off the bit for so long!

Watching this, the part where Julia's Edge of Tomorrow joke causes a devolution into chaos, I have officially confirmed I have made it to the age where laughing too long and too hard inevitably devolves into a choking/coughing fit for no apparent reason. I may need to be more careful around my Drawfee consumption in the future if you all are going to continue to break my apparently ancient body with your too good goofs

This episode has rocked me to my core. I guess I don't interact with enough other Pokémon fans because I was completely blindsided to learn that my adoration of Swampert is not universal. My entire worldview is still recalibrating. Anyway, thank you, Drawfee, for reminding me of the time I was goalie and my own teammate was trying to kick the ball away from our goal but he kicked it so wrong that it hit me hard in the face and bounced off my skull into our own goal.

The Pokemon duking it out in Venusaur's fighting ring are just the ones not currently in your party - that's why it's called "boxing" your Pokemon.

A lot of Pokémon that I wasn't initially fond of I ended up liking a lot more once I saw them in motion like in the anime and stuff and in other side games. Swampert is one of those, specifically something about his Pokémon Pinball icon made me start liking him. I just think he is a nice little axolotl boy and mine is named Chips.

Every Pokémon is someone's favorite, and I think that's beautiful and a sign of amazing character design.

Swampert's big thing is that he's only weak to grass types, because he's immune to electric type moves. He's 4x weak to it, but it makes him pretty powerful.

You know, I'm actually less offended by the Swampert hate than by the absolute slander of Sligoo, which I _will not stand for._ Swampert's a cutie but Sligoo is a precious gross, slimy horror baby and I'll hear nothing more about it. Also, I wish I could've been there to suggest it but about halfway through the episode I realized that Electric/Fairy Incineroar pretty much has to be a Glam Metal/Rock guitarist, right??? I feel like keeping him a wrestler is kinda limited. Like he's gotta be a diva, sure, but you can do so much with that. After considering drag queen, stripper and rockstar I remembered the Twisted Sister music video for We're Not Gonna Take It and realized he couldn't be anything else. Either something like Dee Snider or Gene Simmons/any member of the band KISS.

It amazes me that Karina kept drawing so wonderfully while the “Edge of Tomorrow” nonsense was happening. I would not have been able to see from cry laughing and been unable to be productive in ANY way

Hey Karina, there's a way easier method to hatching shinies. It really only works in sun and moon and the ultra sequels, but I'll try to break it down. 1.) Use the Matsuda method of shiny breeding. I used a Japanese ditto with a magikarp I caught in game. 2.) Save after you put them in the daycare then hatch those eggs until you get a shiny. Magikarp eggs hatch real fast, so it won't take as long. I got a shiny magikarp after like 60 eggs. 3.) Once you get a shiny, turn off your game without saving. Then turn it back on. 4.) You should now be back in the daycare. Remove magikarp and put in the pokemon of your choice. I used froakie. 5. Hatch those eggs. The number of eggs it took to get a shiny magikarp will be the same as the number it'll take to get the shiny of your choice. I got my shiny froakie in 60 eggs. The whole process took about 2ish hours.

Y’all realize Drawfee is making its own Pokémon game they’ve got gym leaders, unique Pokémon, and now regional variants.

I know they were doing starters but I think it would have been incredibly on brand if they had taken ponyta and made it normal type. Just draw a horse.

Not to exaggerate, but specifically this type of content is what made me subscribe and follow you guys for years!

I'll be honest, I get their distress wrt Swampert, as I've felt it for some other Pokemon-- Including you, Incineroar buddy -_- Took me a long time to get used to you, esp after seeing the Drawfee version (not to mention looking like *another* Fire-Fighting type) --probably about one a generation on average. But when I first saw Swampert, all I could think was "Big Lizard-Puppy! Yeeesss" Also, R&S always felt like it was trying to be more of a "cool mon" rather than "cute mon" game, so it fit in with the "awkward cool" energy I felt.

I haven't laughed until I cried in a long time and I want to personally thank drawfee for the gift of that edge of tomorrow bit. It destroyed me in the best way.
