I really enjoyed making them, I just didn't have the urge to continue at the time and preferred other forms of storytelling.

This is old-ish, but this literally made me so happy, for all the same reasons that you described. Not only the backgrounds, but like... the girls interact with the everyday world with so much DRAMA (and in my experience that's exactly how little kids are), and in the meantime the moms are having their adult drama and it's just. it's just. it's just priceless. I love it so much and I wish I could see Magna Girl as a real hero in the comics!!

Maggie's mom is so smart! Teaching her daughter to keep everything clean through her toys is a such a great strategy! Also, that idea of making the house in the Sims and using it for the comic is GREAT! It must have made your life much easier :D gonna book that one for later.

Your Sims trick is genius! Even if you don’t use what the item looks like, you at least can work out the angles, without trying to find the perfect reference photo. And you have an actual reference to know what is where.

A chapterbook of the story with like some full color illustrations mixed in would be so sick!! You would still get to showcase all your wonderful character design but the story would be in a format you are more interested in.

i watched your channel for around 4 or 5 years before i stopped watching a lot of the art side of youtube, just because life got busy and priorities changed. i've been watching some of your videos i missed after offhandedly thinking about your content again and came to this one. rin, i've always loved your characters and your storytelling, and that's one of my favourite parts about seeing you make art on this channel--watching you design personalities and characters and tell a tiny story. magna girl's story always intrigued me since i only ever saw the first issue, and i loved the story of the two witches you drew a while back. i'd love to see more of your storytelling content, whether you draw to it, or have a podcast or something. if you ever made a comic, a book, etc, i'd buy it in a heartbeat. thanks for being an inspiration to me and the art community :)

The return of a legend! I remember reading the comic way back, and it's super exciting to hear more of the making-of details and taking a peek at where the story was going. Which of course has the double-edged-sword affect of making me even more interested in the story than I already was.

This is so cool to see! I'm working on page 100 of my first graphic novel and looking at your process is so fun, even if you decided it's not for you! (Also, if you're looking for art/drawing/video idea stuff, apparently Faber Castelle's colored ink pitt artist pens are supposed to work with alcohol markers, so they could theoretically be used for colored lineart. I got a few, and they mostly worked, the red pen smeared with certain ohuhus of mine. But they're also pretty expensive, so can't blame you for giving it a pass)

I LOVED this!! I always adore learning about your original characters, because I have a few OCs of my own! It’s always so gratifying and fun to see your characters/stories! I would love to learn more about Magna Girl! I’d love to see her when she’s older too!

I remember looking at this comic on your website way back when and thinking it just wasn't for me, but seeing you expand on it and like showing where it goes, I think it's super cool and I'd definitely be into seeing more of it!

I love this so much!!!!! I would love to see the story continue in any format, and I loved the character art, too! I really wish it was a book I could buy right now, but I can't wait to watch the journey and see what the results are.

That is so fun and interesting!! I absolutely love the slice-of-life from a kid's perspective structure and I really fell in love with the characters. Please, please continue telling this story, in whatever form you choose! I just really want to know it all :)
