Thank you so much for your videos. I live in the Netherlands and I am having a really hard time finding anywhere to do dreads for me. UK here. You inspired me to get my locs. My daughter used your guides to section my hair then i bought some human hair made dreads with that and then put them into my dreads. I love it. Unfortunately i have very thin hair so i wish i made them smaller as i dont have the amount i had hoped for but i dont care i love my hair. I love you too , your so pretty and chill. Blessed be xoxo

I lived in Ogden for 3 years starting back in 98. Moved back to Iowa in 2001. It would have been really cool to hang with you and learn how to dread and just relax in a chill space.

Hi Wires and Stoned! I’ve watched your videos a few times before but somehow didn’t realize that you were coming from Ogden, Utah! I live in Kingsport, Tennessee but I was born in Ogden! I’ve been wanting to do dreads for a very long time and wanted to do some traveling! I've wanted to do this for years! Richmond VA! All we have here is shops for kinky hair or expensive ones that come to you charging like $1,000. I'd love to learn all hair types including african hair and silky straight like mine.

Dreadlocks are expensive to set up, but I only paid the first time £100 and the second time £200. Both times I wasn't too satisfied with the set up, the first time cause they used bee wax (which caused me to remove my dreads 1 year later) and this time around because the partitioning it's a bit too wide, so I had to go and separate some dreads myself. The best thing you can do for your dreads is to make them yourself, which is free, a bonding experience and most importantly, they will come out the way you want them :)

It's def pricey to pay someone else for up to 30 hours of their time. So this is why we help people learn to do THEIR own 😜

I see a lot of videos of you and "the girls". What about "the guys" ? Im growing my (straight) hair now to put in dreads and have some questions. Like 1. how long should i get it before starting locks? (right now its down to my shoulders) and 2. As my hair grows is it difficult to add the newly grown straight hair into the locks? Dear wired and stoned 🦋 I have been working on my dreadlocks for three years now my beautiful hair… I had an excellent stylist in Seattle where I had my hair done regularly. I am actually a cosmetologist myself however when I moved to Arizona back to my homeland I had my hair completely ruined by a so-called professional she literally broke my hair off at the route almost 80% of my dreads have broken off I am completely demoralized. I went to another so-called professional who did honestly a very sloppy job and I am laughed absolutely… While you can imagine 😢 please help me learn the art.. I obviously need to learn how to do this myself I know I am capable I have just been depending on others to try to get this done but I need to learn how to do it myself. I will send you an image of my hair used to look like now what I am left with. Please help I will travel.
