In Aug. 2021 we moved to HUNZA, in the north of PAKISTAN. I was hoping to do individual vlogs of our entire time here, but life gave us a few challenges along the way, so I better used this time to get better and process things. I did however capture the details of most things we did - just not enough to make a whole vlog. So instead, I have made this super fun RECAP of our entire time there. I have split it up into a 2 part series. This is the first year we moved there and next week I will share the second part, which has even MORE crazy adventures. Thanks for watching !

HI, after watching your video, I was prompted to write, that's not what I usually do. But this video had so many layers, from the beautiful mountains to surviving the gloomy winter. nights. Experiencing aloneness, and struggling without your better half, can be challenging. But your awareness of spending time with yourself, which is NOT easy for most people to do, as we run away from ourselves, but you had a certain awareness to embrace that loneliness. which is so beautiful in so many ways. You captured the beauty of that place magically. Justice was done to the place, and some of the shots were mesmerizing. I could feel emotions rising to see that footage. Thoroughly enjoyed the relationship you have with the animals. Here human beings are not well treated, as you treat the animals. I feel they go hand in hand, or more, a part of me feels animals are better than few humans. No offense to anyone, it's just my personal view. The unconditional love they give makes it worth the effort and they help you go through those rough days. I feel Adeel is a unique person, and seeing you both makes it seem that destiny had a huge role in getting you guys together. Who would have imagined, you would find a life partner in Pakistan, of all the places. Both deserve each other. and most importantly, you guys are nature lovers and it couldn't get more authentic. When you live close to your life purpose, everything aligns. Finding yourself is one of the greatest challenges of this time. Makes me admire you more for doing what is so close to your heart. Rosie the challenges you face up in the mountain trulely admir your spirit .I think most wouldn't be able to do what you do. so hats off to you. In the end, I would like to make a wish, may you guys continue to inspire us in so many ways, and may you find peace and joy. Stay blessed the two of you. and the adorable family members. Keep rocking. sorry for such a long reply.

Thank you for watching ! Now is the time to go actually… no plan is always the best plan ! Tourism is growing there making it quite crowed in the summer and losing that rugged charm. 4 years ago when I travelled solo, it was a very different place. Do go while there is still a chance. Btw. September is the best month to travel. You can even rent a bike in gilgit and travel that way, the best in my opinion. Bring some camping stuff, have the best time. Feel free to write me on Instagram instagram.com/rosiegabrielle?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= I’d be happy to give you any advice to travel there. Email is next best if you don’t have social media.

Beautiful place, great couple and an amazing documentary. It's really tough living in mountains especially when you are coming from the city. the daring and most adventurous ones can do something like it. 99.9% of rest like me only prefer enjoying watching these documentaries on KZfaq. Really loved the local community, the girl football tournaments, the passion in the girls is great. They could really excell only if facilities and more opportunities are there. Loved this video. Take care and keep rocking

The people and country are also inspiring, and I was drawn to your video wanting to learn more about the culture and people of Pakistan whom I’ve come to respect and admire locally, here in in the states (Boston and Chicago). Thank you for opening your world to us. I hope I can visit the area in my lifetime. With respect and love.

You really need to think ahead rose, try to create a eco system of grid life , if you have flowing water outside use a hydro motor to make electricity, solar panels, grow lots of trees for wood, if you go online use will find many way to do it, may Allah swt keep you all safe🇧🇩🇬🇧🙏 read and contemplate on the Quran inshallah you'll find a way🙏🤗😘

Ahh electricity outage, cold with no heating system, darkness in the cold weather and that house on the fire. Oh boy that was such a hard experience that you went through and I am sorry for that. I love these mountains and their arrogance but I always experienced the mountain life is tough and rough specially in that sky hugging the world's one of the highest mountain range. Well both of you seem a very good match as their is allot of chemistry sharing likes.

@@RosieGabrielle Oh I didn't know about the cat incident. I am sorry for that. I can tell the pain of loosing your any pet is just like loosing a child. Recently my sister gave one of the home grown cat to her friend which ran away from their house at night and no one knows where she is and that incident makes me so sad and I always think she must be looking her own house which hundreds of miles away and I even dont know if she is still alive; which is heart breaking. Anyway sometimes things are just in our hands.
