I actually really liked the show as a kid. Nothing compared to the movies, of course, but it was cool that they had the original cast, and took the opportunity to expand on everyones character.

What is your favorite part about httyd the nine realms. It doesn't have to be amazing, just if the series had to be reset to the end of the third movie, what would you keep the same.

@@shaddowofthelost1750 ok, if I had to pick one thing (because it’s hard to choose anything else) I’d keep the setting of everything being in the future (“present time”) I like the idea of kids in this time finding companionship with ancient creatures they’ve only heard from storybooks. I think kids nowadays have started living in a more realistic world, not really believing in the unknown. Which is something this show could’ve done better with, allowing kids to believe in the impossible in a sorts. Story wise, I’d also expand on how we handle new things in this current time. Lemme explain, In the second episode, I remember Tom talking to his mom about how the foundation would react if they found something extraordinary from the fissure, and she responds by saying they would take it in and throughly examine it, seeing it only as a revolutionary discovery. Which would mean they’d have to keep the dragons safe from everyone. If I were a director of this show, I would pour more of the focus into that plot: keeping the dragons safe, because so far everything I’ve seen and heard about, focuses more on dragons we run into, which I get is also a way to expand the world, but we haven’t seen much of the company exploring the fissure or trying to make some kind of progress to cracking its code. So the kids and the dragons would have to team up to protect the hidden world from whatever May be thrown at them. An example would be the drones, they have cameras so they dragon riders would have to be creative in findings ways of destroying them (this could be where Feather uses their invisibility as an idea) this kind of concept would also connect to Thunder’s thought pattern in the first episode, destroying Tom’s drone and constantly patrolling the fissure, which would also connect to his bloodline being protectors of dragons (toothless being alpha) The show had some potential story wise, I’ll give it that, but it was just executed poorly. Don’t get me started on character designs and animation, that’s a lost cause. Srry for the long response, I get passionate with stuff like this

TLoS had a great story and as good a gameplay as its budget and timeframe could muster. This upcoming game may only provide the second part of that. The reasons I enjoy that trilogy are numerous, but to name one it would be how creative its dragon powers were. Cynders existence alone is enough for me to defend it to death. But about this game, I will buy it because playing as a dragon is an underrated concept, and it looks like this could be a challenge.

@@simonbriggs203 I love the Legend of Spyro series, it was one of my favourite sets of games for how good the story was and how enjoyable the gameplay is. I'm going to reserve judgement on this game until I see how its story goes, so I've decided I will end up getting it. I've been watching the TV show and honestly it seems fine to me. I'm content being hesitantly hyped for this game.
