Ost is supposed to be a general mix of all of them. Each combat encounter has a certain element that is chosen to be a “lead” like this choir :D

Im not sure if they say it in the main game, but in Valhalla's DLC, when you read the codex of the dreki you fought, Kratos says that Mimir feels guilty because he was the one who brought them to Svartalfheim and devastated the ecosystem or something like that
