The Dremel Versa is a new power cleaning tool launched in 2018. It includes 4 different cleaning accessories for a variety of light to abrasive cleaning. The battery is a 4V Li Ion that takes a couple hours to charge simply using a micro usb adapter, which is included. A splash guard is also included, to make the cleaning easier. Please ask any question if you would like to know more about it.

Thanks, I believe the product was just launched in 2018. It's handy for the small cleaning and polishing projects.

I did not have a good experience with this tool. I have several Dremel tools that I recommend but this one falls short. It doesn't have enough power to perform most tasks. It doesn't work on shower floors. Does clean well . The only thing I use it for is my glass top stove. It is useful for that purpose. I bought a kit that attaches to a drill or 1/4 drive. The kit was cheaper and works better. Very nice video.

Thanks! I would use if for shining and cleaning my shoes if it had a buffer. I'm thinking Dremel is due to come out with a 2.0 version of this.

Yes buffing and polishing small furniture pieces. Something like those wool bonnets that are used on bigger buffers.

Dremel definitely needs to add a polishing pad to the line up. I need to use it to polish wax on furniture.

I just got my Versa and I am trying out gluing a piece of polishing terry clothe to an eraser pad. I hope it works. I’ll give it a shot after allowing it to dry overnight.

Tried it and it works great!! I used Tacky Glue and glued on a piece of micro fiber clothe into the eraser pad, including up the sides and let it dry. Worked like a charm to buff the antiquing AS wax I had applied to a wood table I was up cycling. Definitely took some of the elbow grease out of buffing the entire piece. The pad cleaned up easily with soap and hot water. So happy 😊

Love the video and can't wait to but this. I like the idea of the bonnets and being able to buy extra brushes, pads in the store too because I don't like to shop online. I remember the shoe polisher and still have the shoe cleaner box too! Funny!

Apart from the splash guard and the Dremel name, it would be at Walmart for less than $10. I’ve loved my Dremel tools but this one falls way short of their classic tools in the following 1.) Under powered. 2.) Poor battery life and power. It sounds like it’s solar powered from the 90’s. 3.) Over priced. Granted Dremel stuff has never been inexpensive for what you get. THANK YOU for this review, you saved me a lot money and frustration.

How did you get it out of the package?? I have not used mine yet but had to cut the plastic with scissors.

That's a good question. I have oversized scissors (Wiss 10" Shears) that I bought at Home Depot for things like this.

Would the versa be safe to polish windshields with like rain x etc..with the polishing pad?

I never realized it had a splash guard. Not sure if that innovative or standard on other similar tools. That's a attractive feature though.

It's a new and improved shoe polisher, minus the polishing bonnets necessary for it to fulfill it's purpose, please dremel help the versa to be what it was meant to be.

What cleaning task would this tool help you with? I really like polishing the fenders on my aluminum trailer with it.

Nice review Mark! I would probably use it to polish any carpentry projects after sanding. I always love polishing things after the build is complete, really just gives that finishing touch and makes 'em sparkle. Have a great day Mark!

Ok, so this is supposed to be water resistant BUT, the USB port is exposed and they dont give you a rubber plug or anything to protect it? What say you?

It's been awhile, but it seems like 10 minutes or so. It's a relatively small battery, for quick little projects.

I just bought a Dremel Versa. My experience started very well at unpacking, with this magnificent blue semi-rigid shell. Afterwards, I found that cardboard as a separator reflected an unhappy economic wish, but my enthusiasm dropped when I saw that the charger was only USB. This is absolutely anything, we are not going to charge this device on the USB port of his computer, it's absurd. Today I used the material loaded completely on a large plastic pot, with the tip allowing to remove the cement flows as indicated in the instructions. I have never pressed hard, so that the device does not stop. I am very disappointed, the battery has a continuous autonomy of 10 minutes. I haven't done half the work. I imagine that to wax 5 pairs of shoes I would have done it faster by hand ...

Once in awhile I find some small projects for this to help me out on. It's definitely for 10 minute projects.
