For a game like Anthem, the writing isn't done just because the core game is in its final few laps before release. Being an MMO that will probably have regular expansions, they'll need writers on the Live Team to write the narrative aspects of DLCs for Anthem.

yes but drew probably joined in on short term contract, i don't think he wants to get caught in a 10 year contract. besides he can always join in later again like he already did once. and who knows maybe he has already laid out the entire plan for all the story to come, and it's up to the current team to flesh it out wqhen the DLCs are due. he doesn't have to be there holding their hands every single day. i think the rest of the team is probably competent enough to understand how the story goes. and it's not a mmo because a mmo would require a persistent open world. otherwise diablo 3 would be a mmo too, and destiny, and the division which they are not. defiance how ever is, because that actually has a persistent open world.

Unfortunally that is only half the truth. In the past, you can look it up if you want. You will see great studio's have died at the hands of EA. This wont be the last. Yes its partial to its stupid forced diversity practice, but dont forget EA's greed has also a huge part in it. I mean not all the studio's that died under EA was due diversity.

Looks at the ME and ME2 credits. While he was the lead writer he was one of 7 writers for the first and one of 9 writers for the second. He wasn't involved in writing ME3 (according to IMDB, but sometimes they get stuff wrong). Basically he was part of a team of writers, so there will be a team of writers for Anthem and any new BioWare games. I don't lose hope until BioWare has officially shut its doors. Even then, there is a chance for a new developer to pick up IP.
