Tbh these dishes are common between all North Asian countries like Japan, China and Korea too. Even South Asian countries have them although they alter the meat into something other than pork or beef usually

Pani Puri is not originally Nepali though. Just like how it's unfair to represent India with momo bc momo is originally Nepali and it's just very famous in india. Same with Pani Puri in Nepal too. He could STILL try it and call it Nepali I'm just saying it isn't originally from Nepal.

It originated from Tibet then later spread to Nepal, India & Bhutan. But each region makes it slightly different. Momos can be seen somewhat similar to Mandu, Gyozas, Jiaozi, (korean/Japanese/Chinese). Newar merchants brought the recipe & the name from Tibet where the Newar Merchants use to trade. They hv modified the dish with available ingredients, such as buffalo. The very word momo has it's origin in Tibetan nd no any other country.
