I'm actually Grateful to one of the Warpers at the first wreck, I was runnnin' out of oxygen in the wreck and wasn't gonna get to my Seamoth in time, but they Warped me outside the wreck near my Seamoth, savin' me.

I got everything necessary from the first wreck. Also the first one has some sealed off doors which require a laser cutter, altho if you have it you can get about 4 more drill/grappling arm fragments.

In case anybody else is late to this game, like me, I found enough pieces for both the drill and grappling arm. And some spares. Warpers around but nothing else. Unless I was just lucky... ;)) Thank you, Landis - your videos has been a light in the darkness!!!

Hello from Japan, Landis!!.. I just wanted to thank you for the efficiency of your *how to find* tutorials.. No pointless babblings about irrelevant stuffs for 15 minutes and no spoilers, and you always made sure we know where to go!.. I do not make a comments much but you have been very helpful.. Others waste time, ramble, show off their 5 bases, go sight seeing, as well as talk a spoilers, all over 47 minutes in a video titled "how to find prawn drill arm" lol.. You have a new sub :)

Gotta say, exploring the whole wreck is worth it. I found Cyclops depth module mk 1 and Cyclops docking bay repair, 3 nutrient blocks, finished both Grappling and Drilling arm, and not a single Warper!

Outside the first wreck I found 8 drill arm fragments and 2 for scanner room, RnG was very giving with the parts, too bad they weren't more varied lmao. Happy I got the drill arm though, hopefully I'll find the grappling arm once I cut into the wreck or move to the next. Thank you for all the work you put into your videos, and you're doing a fantastic job of it! Edit: 2 more drill frags inside, hopefully the second wreck changes my luck lmao. 2nd Edit: My luck didn't change at the second wreck, it only had a couple scanner room pieces, at least the data boxes will come in handy soon. I will say though that this is only the first time ever that I've followed one of your videos and didn't find everything I was looking for.

all fragments are random spawn in set conditions, all guides on my channel show the best statistical possibility from my own testing experience of a spawn

@@zzkilla1 grand reef aint scary tbh. There are 2 ghost leviathans but the area is very open so it's easy to see them and avoid. Also they go towards light, same as crabsquids, so you might want to disable your light next time. Cheers and gl out there. Now I can go get Kyanite thanks to this tutorial :D

I found my grappling and drill arms at the underwater islands wreck. I was just exploring trying to find shale for some diamond when I found it and the drill arm was outside and the grappling arm inside

Once I have the parts where do I construct the drill arm? I built a modification station but I don't see the option to build the drill arm even though it says I found all drill arm parts. When I scan I get Lithium

Wow that’s a lot of good luck and bad luck simultaneously, with more arms it’s normally a safe bet to hit the future out wrecks.

@@LandisPlays Update: I found a complete set of Propulsion cannon armament for the prawn and one out of two grappling arms at one of the wrecks near the mountain. Just a few hundred meters from my first base in fact. The search for grappling part two continues :)

There's a wreck by the floating islands. I found my grappling arms there.

That is another good location for arms, think I used it for the propulsion arm guide.

Guess what, since i played in a later version and used this as a tutorial when i was looking for the drill arm fragments my compass was kind of glitched or Subnautica changed the compass a bit and i went SE using your compass and i found a new wreck in blood kelp and guess what! i found the two drill arm fragments and a grappling arm fragment!

its 2021 and i just got the new subnautic, but i thought why not finish the first game so i went to the first wreck and found 4 drill arms, but i cant go deeper than 200 meters so i need to find more depth modules, and yes this video was helpful
