20 anti drill feature lock drilled open. Part 1. Phone stopped recording every time I received a call but recorded 99% of the effort to open.
Drilling is, or should be, a locksmiths last resort but it’s valuable knowledge knowing how to drill one when required.
Part 2 shows another drill open.
Part 3 shows snap and overcoming the firing pin.

I wouldn't recommend drilling unless you know what you're doing. its very easy to mess it up and ruin the lock. making it even harder to open by a locksmith.

what drill bit do you use, is this for concrete? with carbide tip?

I use tungsten carbide tip drill bits on these

does it work with any cylinder ? did you try with ts007 cylinders like abs, yale, etc ?

It would but some locks have trap pins or interactive elements.. You need to know what getting yourself into.

Hi, just a question about a potential problem if one of the anti drill pins drop like it did on your video, could this cause a problem removing the lock from the door? And how would you get round this. 😁👍

What would happen if you drilled on the actual shear line?.

some prefer to drill the sheer line. personally I find it can often bind the core and make turning it harder.

Nice, personally I go slower with more pressure behind drill and theses can be decoded easily.

You're right, they pick way easier than they drill. I find the high speed helps get through the hardened pins and the little pressure behind the drill stops the drill bit being pushed off the hardened pins, gentle seems to eat the pins better than pushing hard.

Was that just 1 TCT drill bit mate? I usually plug pull and drill the sheer line

not a fan of plug pulling, but yes, one bit. I used another to get through the firing pin at the back. that was a tough cookie.

plug pulling on this lock would activate the firing pin on the cam leaving you in more trouble then when you started. ;)

I'm a fan of the EVVA ICS range. That's what's on my house.

@@LondonLocks Do you recommend getting an Evva ICS cylinder with or without the 3 star TS007 anti snap protection? If you order an Evva ICS cylinder, it won't come with the 3 star anti snap feature unless you specify that you want the manufacturer to build in that feature. Anyway, my question is, do you think the ICS cylinder without the 3 star TS007 anti snap feature will resist a snap attack, or do you think I need to order the anti- snap feature in order to be protected against snapping attacks?
