I wanted to thank you for this video, because it was one of the ones that convinced me to go with skull&co! Mine just arrived, and it's super comfortable (I'm using snap grips, I find the plus ones a bit too big for me, but trigger's bump is kind of uncomfortable for me personally)! Though I wonder if anyone else has the issue where the bottom side of the case is a little loose? It gives me anxiety to see it kinda look like it's about to slip off while playing (it hasn't happened though) haha. The nice thing about skull&co's grip case is that it's a fairly compact form factor so you don't necessarily need a huge chonky case for it. For anyone that uses the Hori Go Pack slings, they fit together with the switch perfectly fine with breathing room!

Thanks for mentioning the trigger covers on the Lite version. That was the only thing keeping me on the fence about getting that, but now knowing it won't be an issue, I just ordered the Pokémon version.

This video is what convinced me to buy the Skull & Co Switch Lite grip, and my god, it's an absolute night and day difference in terms of comfort. I use the plus grips because I have massive hands, and the way they're angled completely eliminated any discomfort my wrists would have after long-hour gaming sessions on the Lite. I've bought the bundle that comes with the carrying bag, it's a tad bit bulky but it's not an issue and I can rest easy knowing my Switch is safely tucked away when I'm traveling. Stylish, too!

Mine came in about a week ago for my light. I love it!! I threw on a Future Trunks sticker on the back of my switch and now I don’t have to worry about peeling it off with my fingers and the colors pop even more through the clear case.

I had the exact same issue with the power button the volume down button on the Switch Lite, but as you said it was intermittent...I use the same Skull & Co grip for 2 weeks, and then switched to the Satisfy grips for my lite...However I have the same Pokemon Switch Lite, and I will admit I do like the matching grip look with the Skull & Co...But the feel of the Satisfy Grip is just to good to pass up, not to mention THAT SATISFY CASE!

been rocking the grip case lite with the blue grips for the gray switch lite and i gotta say i love it. gives the feel of holding a controller in your hands. wish the original switch case had the same design

I liked this grip EXCEPT the rubber over the shoulder buttons. It made them harder to press, to the point I just stopped using it outright. If they removed that so you could access the buttons bare, I might be interested.

I have the crystal grip cases and matching zippered hard cases for both my regular switch and switch lite. Get yourself one with the a set of the rubber thumb grip pads and it's legit the most comfortable, well protected console you'll ever have played.

Using for more than one year with the dock without any issues. I just use one protection sleeve one the dock. No scratch at all on the screen. I don’t use anything on the dock USB ports. Great video buddy.

Glass screen protectors are a life saver

As someone who owns the satisfye grip and Skull and Co for the lite. The Skull and Co is the better grip. I made the mistake of not buying a case with them thinking I didn't need them. Do make that mistake if anyone is looking to buy one. Can you make a video on how the lite with grips fits into the Regular Switch cases? I like Satisfye case better but they only sell the bigger case and not the lite.

I have the skull and co grip for my switch lite and I use the trigger grips I really like this one way better than the satisfye one. I also like that the skull and co comes with the clear casing to protect my Pokémon special edition design on the back.

Now they are selling the crystal Gripcase for the big switch. Have you reviewed?

tl;dr - If you have a screen protector and don't mind scratches on the margin, give docking a shot. You might like how it fits and then you won't have to remove the case every time you dock. I have used a tempered glass screen protector on my Switch since there were reports of the dock scratching the screen without any case involved. That being said, I do dock with my grip case on. I can confirm that people will get scratching on the margins of the screen towards the bottom on either side. None of the scratching occurs within the border, so gameplay is unaffected and I don't mind that the screen protector gets scratched. I actually prefer how snug the Switch fits in the dock with the grip case on.

Dream grip would be one, which would make the Switch feel like a Wii U GamePad. That thing was incredibly comfortable, even though it was a huge slab.

The only thing that you and other people on youtube never mention is, YES the case is dockable BUT you will loose the 2 usb ports on the front left of the dock due to the handle beeing infront of it! just a heads up for everyone who thinks of getting these! for me it was kind of a bummer since i got a lan adapter hooked up, and for smash bros normally a gc controller which i now cant connect anymore with this case

The delivery cost/times for ordering the skull and co to the UK is really quite expensive and takes a very long time. Between 12 and 21 working days. Best part of a month..

Ordered one cause I can't stand the Satisfye Zen Grip for my Switch Lite. It hurts my hands after awhile. Definitely excited to try out Skull & Co products. If I end up liking it, I"ll get one for my Switch.

The skull and co grips only problem is it takes forever to ship. It took over a month for me to get it. I have a satisfye grip, though, and it's comfortable, but it scuffs the paint on the back of my pokemon switch lite. I decided to get the skull and co and it's way more comfortable in my hands than the satisfye grips. It fits so much better in my hands.

The issue you mentioned at 9:48 is the same issue I've experienced and its a bit annoying. Unless you use the tip of your finger or your nail, it turns the volume down. Skull & Co needs to make the buttons taller.

I purchased the Grip & case bundle after watching this video, my concern was about the Bluetooth adapter and it works great with the one I have (Golvery Wireless Audio Adapter for the Switch) I own a Switch lite for reference. Never commented in YT but I did like a lot your way of present this so I had to. Also, great job in general for your videos, it's hard on a highly competitive niche, where basically all videos and reviews are pretty much the same.

I find the offset on the right side of the satisfye grip to be too much and the way my hand reaches makes it cramp up over time. interested in trying the skillnco

Hi, I was wondering if you could check your switch dock to make sure it's not bent inwards at the top? The reason I'm asking is because my Skullnco grip case fits easily in the dock without any force whatsoever. As a matter of fact, there's even a bit of extra room when it's in the dock. I got my grip case in March of 2018, so I'm not sure if they're making them thicker now or something, but I thought it was odd when you said you have to force yours into the dock. To me, being able to so easily dock it without having to remove the case is hands down it's best feature.

I was gonna buy this but the whole dockable aspect is sketchy like you said. I have a tempered glass screen protector on mine so idk if that’s gonna make it harder to fit. Also they say it fits in “some” docks since a bunch of docks are kinda warped anyways? Yea I don’t feel like warping my dock with heat so it can fit. Plus the USB ports being blocked also kinda sucks.

Thanks its another great review, I forgot about the plus grip and it does feel better than the trigger ones. The bluetooth adapter for Switch Lite does not fit because of the case but a female to male USB C theoretically solves the problem but it sticks out sorely, will order one soon to try connect my wireless Bose. Btw i'm thinking to get a vinyl wrap, does the Switch Lite case has enough tolerance to allow the fit?

Is it better to order of their website or on amazon?

As much as I want to get this for my Lite because of the grips, I don't want the case to turn yellow over time specially with my sweaty hands lol. So I might just get an armor case for protection to sacrifice the comfort

Hi, just want to ask since I can't find it anywhere around me, does the switch lite gripcase with the zacian and zamazenta colorway have any difference than the standard colored ones other than the grip color? Also I contacted Skull and Co a week ago about the animal crossing versions (especially for the lite as replacement color grips as they have with other colors) and they said they don’t have plans to have a rerelease. However I’ve told them it’s a money maker since the world’s in quarantine rn combined with the popularity of Animal Crossing. Haven’t gotten word back yet but I truly hope they make more 😭 It’d be cool if you could ask them to make more too. That feedback from the community will surely let them know. 🙂✌🏼

It could just be coincidence, but i think this will overheat the switch in docked mode. My games literally never crash when normally docked,but i've gotten 3 crashes in the past week with this thing on it. So i suggest removing it for docking.
