I met Tiff at the GFOS several years ago. He was just sitting at a table with a few copies of his books towards the end of the day, nobody else around just relaxing. He was a top bloke, couldn’t have been nicer after I ruined his quiet time. We need more of Tiff on our screens, a genuine driving legend!

I was fortunate enough to do a few laps of Brands Hatch with Tiff driving an M3 a few years ago. Great fun and a properly nice guy.

There is something heartwarming about seeing Tiff with that Formula Ford from so many years ago. The way he knows all those little quirks and tricks, and the undimmed affection for something that is so key to his life story. If there is such a thing as "wholesome" in the world of motorsport, it has to be Tiff coaxing his old car into life with an unforced smile and obvious deep seated happiness . We should all be so fortunate.

Can we please have James May do a tour of his bikes? I'm guessing he has time and is probably keen to share!

Remember hearing his voice playing TOCA Touring Car Championship and then realizing it was the same guy that reviewed the insane McLaren F1 in Top Gear, shouting "THIS IS SENSATIONAL!". Fell in love with the car and became a fan of the show and the man.
