i know they joke about how watching them drink and banter as an uninteresting experience, but this is actually fun to watch

Spent my childhood watching them and today as 25 years old I still cant get over the elegancy of the conversation between these guys. Sad to see them getting old.

If Jeremy, James and Richard hangs out at the pub and talk about anything and live stream it. I'd watch it and I reckon quite a lot of other people too.

That banter is what made Top Gear and Grand Tour (and everything in between) what it was. They can talk about ANYTHING and you'll want more. AND, it doesn't have to be the three of them together for it to work. Solo projects, Duets like this, its all pure gold.

I'm not gonna lie, Hammond's ability to cure his hiccups almost instantaneously was an unexpected superpower 😳

I ordered a bottle of each type when the US version was first made available expecting to receive a letter in the mail with some stickers and a nice letter explaining that the whole thing is a joke and that I wouldn't be charged and thank you for supporting the madness of James May. Instead what arrived was 2 bottles of rather excellent gin.

Love the friendship and chemistry between these two after so many years.

I always learn something when JM is on screen, that navy strength fact is going right into my trivia or trivial section of the brain.

I think these two have had a bromance for years. There's a genuine bond between them and I really enjoy listening to their chats. James' voice is comforting to listen to.

The chemistry between these two is heartwarming. I could watch/listen to them talk on a porch about a brewing thunderstorm.

honestly i love how they constantly make sarcastic comments about how viewers must find them just sitting around talking incredibly dull but that’s what i love about them, how they make usually boring stuff like listening to people talk incredibly interesting. that’s why i really really want a podcast from them discussing everything. please make it happen.

It's crazy thinking back to when I used to watch Top Gear growing up as a kid/teenager and now here I am as a grown (I guess) adult watching a video of James and Richard drinking gin while drinking alongside them. I've enjoyed everything these guys have produced and I doubt there's anything they could be a part of which I wouldn't enjoy.

My favorite thing about "The Reassembler" was that James May would pontificate on screwdrivers, tea, or the like. Having "What's Next" do this with James, Richard, and some gin is absolutely wonderful.

Glad they are all still doing things for the fans that love to watch them.

I will watch these two do anything, for hours on end. This is Golden programming.

I can attest to the quality of James's Gin. Bought one of the first signed batch and as a non G&T afficionado absolutely loved it. When I gave it to my mum who is a proper G&T fan she said it was brilliant. I didn't tell her where it came from. Could have been a £20 bottle for all she knew. Unfortunately it's all gone and I'll need to buy more.

The way they scuff "thats alright, idn't it" cracks me up...thank you James and Richard for all you do.

James and Richard, you don’t know me but you both been present during my life, during when I had my first gin & tonic, also when I had my first drum of whiskey! Not mention other youngsters experience! I admire your approach to life and really appreciate impact you guys made on my life! And this video in addition to all of the moto content you guys share. I really don’t know how to thank for all of this. Simple hello would make my day, probably a year :)

Richard is spot-on about the river Test being a chalk stream. They're fed by aquifers so they don't have much seasonal change to them and they're remarkably clear. Fun fact, of the 210 worldwide rivers classified as chalk streams, 160 are located in England.

I could watch these chaps banter all day! THIS is what made TG so great! The only thing better, would be if Clarkson were here.

And regarding what Mr Hammond could do I believe that you've already done it, you mastered the art of surviving serious car accidents, admittedly it's a difficult thing to share with others but nevertheless it's a remarkable achievement that must be acknowledged.

Thanks to you guys I finally I found my drink that doesn't give me hangover and doesn't make me drink a lot of it.

This proves what I've said many times in the past - these lads could sit around, talking about absolutely anything and it would be interesting and enjoyable.

Fun fact: Loads of new Gin brands popped up in Ireland over the last several years. Most of these are new distillers awaiting licenses to make whiskey (an excellent investment). Gin is very easy to produce. The sheer choice and marketing of this modern gin had a big effect on how trendy it is. Having said that gin is a superb beverage.

Gin and Tonic has been my go to for years. Cheers!

It's every time a pleasure to see you guys. It's fun and entertainment on a higher level. Well, you're British, and the British sense of humor is special. What I know about it, it's so many, but could say: never cheap, solid and often with little dose ironic. I hope could taste the gin on a gin tasting, before I buy it. I think nothing is more bad than buying something, specially drinks, and than you realise, it was a bad idea. The price you call is, I think, realistic. This is what gets me, it doesn't matter the mix. Be it Jeremy and James, James and Hammond, Hammond and Jeremy or all three. The chemistry just works. They are thoroughly enjoyable regardless.

Splendid post chaps, the botanical Richard is on about in River Test Gin is Meadowsweet, they do also use Angelica as well, but Meadowsweet grows in boggy damp ground neat clear rivers. I have had bottles of both Asian Parsnip and the Navy Strength and they are great gins.

With top gear gone and the grand tour becoming a multi-year project each time, I miss them so much! I'm so glad for this... just hearing this 2 talk about gin is so much fun
