Road tripping the legendary NC500 route, we drove our newly converted van/bus taking the one track roads head on after starting anti-clockwise. We made an incredible itinerary visiting some of the BEST spots the north coast 500 highlands have to offer!
In this week's part 2 we don't get off to the best start as we end up in a garage in Inverness! But as the days go on, we take on some axe throwing and canyoneering to end our perfect trip with our 5 mates!
We spent 14 days touring around this stunning part of the world in our motorhome. Scotland is just breathtaking! Top tip if you're in a motorhome - we used the app Park4Night to find wild camping spots.

Thanks so much for watching along on this 2 part Scotland series! ❤️🥳 As we only had two weeks to get around the whole NC500 route (mates could only get 2 weeks off work!) we plan on going back around and exploring more thoroughly in the next few weeks!! So if you have any suggestions on things we absolutely NEED to see... please recommend them below! Thanks for watching 😁👍🏻 P.S MAJOR apologies for the accent in the intro.. So many things but I think you'd love the Duncansby Stacks, Cape Wrath, Loch Na Gaimnlich and although its a big ole trek (13km round trip) I can't recommend Sandwood Bay enough, feels like you're in The Med! Loved it though guys made me want to go right back up there and do it all over again!

I want to say Achmelvich Beach but I’m not sure you’d even fit the bus down that road. Achiltibui with the view over the Summer Isles is top notch too. Other than that I’d say head down Speyside (for all the whisky) which is absolutely brilliant in autumn and explore the Cairngorms a bit like the Green Loch

We have been going to the west coast for years and particularly like Polbain campsite near Achiltibuie. Overlooks the Summer Isles. Stunning views. Lots of nice walks. Heaven.

That into though, can't stop laughing. Brilliant! Scotland has been my favourite place to travel. Eilean Donan Castle is one of my favs. I love Kildrummy ruins and Glengarry also. Isle of Skye is always spectacular! Thanks so much for bringing back all these wonderful memories. Hope you are able to get back soon.

Loved watching this guys!☺️ if you go back to Skye, go to the chippy! (The one down by the water!) and also there’s a good chippy in Ullapool too (the one at the bottom). There’s an amazing waterfall called plodda falls..not sure of it’s on the nc500 tho. Achmelvich is beautiful too, like the beach looks tropical! There’s also a really nice walk in a small town called Evanton, it’s the loch glass walk near wyvis lodge? Oh and lastly, there’s a green loch in aviemore! Very cool on a nice day ☺️

Loved it kinging it around your journey...a month on the west coast for me ,red squirrels, otters and eagles in plane sight but the pine Martin's so elusive just the squeels as they argued over the food in the rain forest of old Scotland ware once as far back as the stoneage this land was settled on...🌛🏴🌜

The Pools reminded me of our skinny dipping at Loch Etive - we found a series of them above where we camped, with a natural water slide between the pools - best fun EVER but gosh it was cold - Felt like snow melt - so cold you were numb ;) Ahh to be young again ^-^

Willy Forbes is ace - always serviced our cars and looked after offspring's cars well. I had a nostalgic look at your trip having lived in the vicinity for 15 years. The seals at Gruinard became quite bold - they would converse in some sort of animal language when we took our dog on the beach. I think the dog thought the seals were stupid because they couldn't move well on land, and Max wasn't too keen on long swims but they certainly had a rapport at Gruinard. So young Brian (Westerbus) came to the rescue - all the more personal.

Wonderful camera work, beautiful scenery and lots of fun. I’ve seen a lot of Scotland but now I really need to go back to the highlands again, and soon. So pleased you have been invited to promote Scotland because no other couple could make it look more fun as well as beautiful. OMG!! love the video guys, can't wait for the next one. You guys should do the road to the Isles from Fort william to Mallaig its amazing. I've not done the NC500 yet but have been told to try Achmelvich beach, supposed to be the nicest beach on mainland Scotland, there is a campsite there too.
