This was my journey from Sharm el Sheikh to Cairo by car. The journey lasted about five hours and it was very pleasant. There were some wild camels on the way too. It's more convenient to go this way since by plane it would take a similar amount of time, taking into account the times you have to be there ahead of the flight, security checks, waiting for your luggage and the travelling through Cairo to get to your destination. Also the price is better. It's comfortable and more fun.
