Thanks for the video, I'm going for adi pt2 in a few weeks and found it helpful. I definitely think time of day makes a difference to pass rates for new drivers, rush hour morning and afternoon you almost get sensory overload trying to process the amount of vehicles and pedestrians (most school kids) compared to say 10am to 2pm. I find it much more stressful during rush hour than off peak

I failed my previous test on observations, repeated failing to check my wing mirror at roundabouts. My last test was during rush hour and the roads were manic. There were cars coming from everywhere and my head was on a swivel trying to keep track of them all. I'm certain I missed loads of mirror checks, but never got a single observation fault. I believe it was because I was checking so often that the official mirror check was irrelevant. I had already made effective observations and the examiner realised that. I think if the roads had been quieter I would have been complacent and failed on mirror checks again. So, busy roads isn't always a disadvantage.

Its definitely your awareness that counts! And goes to show it’s not always a bad idea to take your test in peak times. I assume the last test was a pass? If so congratulations!!! 🎉🙌

Yes it was a pass with only 3 minors and one of them was rolling down the wrong window. 60 years young when I passed. Is that a record?

I have heard that they pass more people on Monday to Wednesday in a week rather than later on in the week.

I did a rush hour test, and was stuck in traffic for a while. I was already saying congratulations to myself till I was taken to Mill Hill Circus roundabout 😅 I highly recommend rush hour test if you don’t want to do much on the day.

@@GetWheelDriving I’ll take the congratulations for the next try 😀 Everything was fine till I got to the roundabout, panicked, forgot the mirror check and failed. I’m not giving up though!

I could never master the push-pull method. I'm a hand crosser. I passed, so it's definitely okay if you're in control, as you said.
