Kratom can allow a person on methadone maintenance to stop very easily rather than have to stay on it because of the fear of withdrawal. It saved me and if used right can really help for detoxing.

I've had several back surgeries and am often in pain that is debilitating to the point that I can barely move. Kratom helps tremendously to allow me to function. Without it, my quality of life is very poor when the immobility occurs. I only take it as needed, about 2 grams a day, and the difference with it is phenomenal. Taking it is a no-brainer for me.

My own personal anecdote: I used to be prescribed tramadol for chronic lower back pain, and while I loved the way it made me feel.. it actually did very little for my pain. I'm now using Kratom powder for chronic pain and it's much more effective than tramadol for me personally I'm currently using about 6-8g per day, and have been using it for almost a year. Haven't had any side effects except when I first started taking it, it caused constipation for the first couple months. As far as withdrawal, I did experience the restless sleep/restless leg that I had when I stopped taking tramadol. It wasnt too severe though As far as Kratom associated deaths, please actually read the literature. After going over all of the available data, the head of the DEA couldn't be persuaded to schedule Kratom as a schedule 1. This is very important to understand.

@@Joylynnfrancis I'm hoping my experience can be of some help to you. My story....back in 2001 I injured my back at work. When the Dr finally ordered x-rays and an MRI it showed 2 herniated discs at L3, 4 and 5. I also have degenerative disc disease in my thoracic area. Dr had me start taking oxycontin...he passed all the lower types of opiates like tramadol or hydrocodone. Well all was pretty good untill the "war on opiates" which made my Dr paranoid. There were two Dr's in our town that were targeted and stripped of their licenses. Other Dr's around the country actually went to jail. Anyway my Dr tapered me off all pain meds and said sorry but I won't go to jail for anyone. I suffered tremendously for about a year. I tried different things like CBD and Marijuana but didn't help with the pain. I came across an article about kratom and finally found where to buy it from. My first dose helped somewhat, so I played with the dose. I've been taking it for 13 years now and swear by it. I honestly don't know what shape I'd be in if I hadn't found kratom.

i’m glad i watched this video before trying it, i’m trying to curb my alcohol addiction and withdrawal and thought this could be the answer, but it appears i’d be replacing one addiction with another. I lost my 81 year old mother because of her opioid addiction when her doctor refused to refill her prescription when she ran out and she went through two days of heavy withdrawals, then after he finally refilled it, she collapsed on the kitchen floor and broke both her legs, hip and shoulder which ultimately led to her death. Because of her death is why i now have an alcohol addiction, it’s a vicious cycle

I would love to have you as my own private physician!😊 I received a free bottle of Feel Free and was told to try it to give me alertness. While doing my homework I noticed the word Kraytom kept coming up as one of the two active ingredients in it. However, being unregulated like you said the dosage and any type of other substances added is unknown and many reported feel free to give the euphoria but was highly addictive! Thanks again for clarification. DON

The risk of Death associated with Kratom less risk of death than Tylenol OD. You are much more likely to OD from Tylenol than Kratom due to the cost and availability. Tylenol is everywhere on the drug store shelves in various different ways, and it takes far less tylenol to OD than it would for Kratom. The risks are being very over-blown as compared to your average cough syrup.

I would have to see those studies. To my knowledge, Kratom hadn't been studied enough to make any assumptions on overdose or dangerous effects. When people talk about regulation, they mainly mean getting richer. All the bad thing we eat daily aren't on some schedule drug list, but this being a alternative to taking those pills needs to be regulated.

The effects seemed to be the same as the regular powder. I just didnt need as much of it and i didnt mix in the concentrate everyday. I did find a few cases that were rare when i researched the whole internet of similar stories of people who's liver couldnt process kratom and were hospitalized. Those cases didnt mention a concentrate. I also was not taking kratom to substitute opiates and was not taking any drugs during that period. It helped me to not drink during that time and i want to try maybe the liquid kind or something to stop drinking again but im pretty terrified. I really did almost die. I had to see a bunch of liver specialists and had an appointment for surgery to pull some organs out of me and backed out and kept researching until i finally found a liver specialist that was willing to look at the cases i found and didnt act like he knew everything like all the other grimy dr's. We tried some samples of the white and green but we settled on liking the red Bali. It takes care of my pain, anxiety and sleeplessness and depression. It just tasted very terrible. I didn't feel anything with some of the samples. I did feel something with Red Bali. I lowered how much I was taking to a tsp.in a large glass of water twice a day. It really works for us. So essentially this is herion ?
@Jaystorm3893
@Jaystorm3893 4 жыл бұрын
No it’s not herion because those are opioids and Kratom has not even trace of opioids in it but has opioid like effects but I really think what’s really going on in America with the opioid crisis is that ignorance has played a big factor in our society on how drugs have been viewed and we haven’t took the proper time to truly educate people on the efficient way to use drugs personally I have people in my family who have been using opioids for 40yrs+ and I have never seen them strung out on the street looking for drugs or robbing anybody because they have used the drug the way it has supposed to be used fact: addicts make up only 10% of our population meaning that a true addict lives for drugs and only drugs the other 90% of America are people like me and you who function day to day and pays bills just like anyone else in America only thing is they use drugs recreationally or to truly help through sickness and pain so I feel our society has to stop demonizing drugs if they are truly a benefit to our health because cmon a drug free world is pretty unrealistic because caffeine is one the biggest drugs in my opinion but it’s ok to have caffeine sometimes because it gets people through long days without crashing and Kratom is in the same family as the coffee plant so they have similar effects but all I am concluding is don’t take drugs if you have not accessed the risk and don’t take multiple drugs because you can have a bad reaction or OD and which leads ultimately to death so drugs are ok as long as you are safe about it

But Kr. has helped me through chronic pain. Of course like anything else it should be taken responsibly and appropriately. I dont take it everyday. I have never felt an addiction to it. I use it as a replacement for a cup of coffee. To someone with health and weight issues i would say take it cautiously or not at all. @@silkysifaka1908 believe me, it’s in VERY good faith.....these doctors pump out A LOT more of there OWN PRESCRIBED medication,then “kratom”.......why isn’t alcohol “regulated” when it can be used properly and for good causes,but at the same time causes untold numbers of death DAILY!? The reality is that most of WHAT this lady said about the dangers of “real legit” kratom is an absolute AND BLATANT LIE...... it’s truly evil how little they know and understand about medication,and mostly the ego on there shoulders,that they truly do not understand MEDICATION......yes they know how to pump you up with all kinds of meds,yes they know how to pump it out too....... and I truly don’t mean to sound egotistical,but my dad is a doctor and I have MANY relatives that are doctors too,and I PROMISE you they like 99.9% of the doctors out there do not understand medicine,or do not care to understand........and putting you’re trust in a doctors for pain,or brain issues like “anxiety depression schizophrenia” and on and on..........and taking the dosages that they “recommend” and being tied down to truly either ignorant or evil people for these meds.....is control in the highest manner, We can agree to disagree I’m not here to fight with you. But there are many many ways of making all these drugs available with an abundance of TRUE information about the drug and when and how to be taken safely- and the dangers and the pros and the cons........ getting that information out there,and allowing adults research for themselves,and understand that they can start at an extremely LOW dose of whatever med they need-when is comes to pain or anxiety-they can do this on there own...... it’s so simple.and it’s an embarrassment that people don’t stand up to this...... I’m not talking about surgery’s or dentistry or anything of the sort that NEED schooling to LEARN how to do procedures and operations on people........ But medication “KRATOM” and all others to be controlled to have to almost be owned to what they say to take and do and stop when they say.....and we trust them........ because we grew up thinking that they have a “license” 😂 I’ve asked many doctors about different meds that I am very knowledgeable in and TRUST me when I tell you this....... they KNOW NOTHING about these kinds of meds........ I mean that! They truly are extremely naive and or very evil..... Do you know how many MILLIONS of lives would have and can be saved if the meds were out there (it can be semi controlled in the beginning and the patients should read up and be tested afterwards to know ALL the details they would want to and need to know) and as time goes on you wouldn’t need all that,people would learn from others who’ve learnt from other’s.............. also a LOT less people would be downing pills because they would be very knowledgeable about what they are taking.... unlike these doctors that usually give a person tops 10 min of info on the meds. And now there on there own,with the 10 min of trust in the doc! Lol It’s so sad and backwards..... how many lives been lost because of drug related crimes.... unnecessary and wrong prescriptions given..... I could go on and on and on...... if you have you’re mind set on doc knows best then go to the doc.......... but don’t make believe you give 2 craps about the other people that disagree with the way the “medical” community “runs” You don’t.they don’t. This is a fact lol there ENTIRE career is based on YOU being stuck and addicted to THEM......you go you pay 250 cash they prescribe you (usually a massive unneeded high) dose and say “uhh ok (mark) I’ll see you in a follow up in 2 weeks..... or a month...... shell out another 200 and another............. for what for some BS crap that you probably don’t need! You probably need something else... that’s usually how it goes.....and they will NEVER EVER tell you the true info about the effects of these drugs......people should have all the info on the shelf next to bottles of LOW to high strengths of all pain and other “brain disorder meds” and people should also HAVE the option to go to a doctor if they feel they need help with prescription drugs........ but for this lady and people like her to come out and LITERALLY spit in to the faces of hundreds of thousands maybe millions of lives that have been saved by kratom and who knows where these people would be if not for this plant,who knows what kind of cocktails they’d be on if kratom wasn’t around! It’s really really SICK in my humble opinion that we are like wounded SHEEP that literally drink up the words of these egotistical monsters that have caused soooooooo much pain and anguish to millions and millions around the world........ You are being controlled 1000% and it’s been so so long that we are asleep and we don’t even realize it........ you have NO IDEA how easy it would be to make all this stuff legal put the info out there and put the trust in every grown up to learn about or be taught and then make a decision based on all said,what if and when and how much to take, for how long........ what goes with what what doesn’t go with it,how long it lasts,how many to take a day/night..... when does tolerance build..... what to do then.... what will one experience..... pros and cons...... side effects...... but it will never happen because the fda the fbi the cdc and all those other organizations would CRUMBLE in a day! It’s all about MONEY AND POWER...........if you are open minded I guarantee you will see the truth in what I’m saying.......... ✌🏻
